HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! We just arrived in Toronto to wrap up the 2024 THRILLER tour at the incredible Drom Taberna -- and it's a $PWYC affair, so if you've missed any of the other dates -- please come out to witness the madness! We plan on burning the joint down with electric-jazz takes of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album.

THRILLER TOUR UPDATE:
Day 7 (Tue-Oct-29) had us in London for the 1st time in a venue called Storm Stayed Brewing Company... we didn't expect a large turn-out, but in the end it was a decent crowd of enthusiastic souls. A solid 1st foray into London... hope to do more there! No pics from London sadly.

Day 8 (Wed-Oct-30) was at Kitchener's Grand Trunk Saloon (with Counterpoint Brewing as the co-presenter -- Graeme, you're the best man!), and I can't say enough about this joint, the people and the show itself. It's a gorgeous space, the staff is beyond incredible (brilliantly led my Matt Hewson -- THE MAN) and the KW audience turned out in force (was a sold-out show, with standing room tickets being sold after seats were full). And the KW audience was the favourite blend of joyful rambunctious and locked-in attentive (which describes Superfans and old friends Anita Flootman Paterson & Scott Paterson exactly!). We did a 2hr:20m full concert 1st set, then hung out with the audience for a while (incredible people!), before jumping back up and doing 3 more tunes (1hr) to close out the night... was a truly magnificent night, and one of my favourites of the tour. For me, there's something magical about that Kitchener-Waterloo region... maybe cuz I did my Physics degree (with Mike, Darren, Maninder, Andrew and more!) at the Univ. of Waterloo a million years ago... but I think it's more than just nostalgia at play here, yano? For me, there's something in the air there. Anyway, all this to say -- I loved that tour date, and the THRILLER crew played their asses off (as they have all tour -- what an incredibly consistent set of musicians.... regardless of audience size, everyone gets the same top-shelf show from them... it's always inspiring as a bandleader to feel them match my energy night after night, rain or shine, tired or not, pnemonia or not -- it's always about giving 110%). Pics are of us post-show in Grand Trunk, just hangin.
