**ZELADOR CONFIG UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT**

Freshy Island just received a significant gameplay upgrade, and this one is built for players who want immersion, challenge, and a world that actually reacts to them.

**Over 75 new dynamic gas zones.**
These zones are on freshy island, and do not include the static gas zones within the deeps.

Gas zones on Freshy Island rotate, they shift, and they are not always in the exact same spot as the last canister to be launched at that location. This is one small step towards creating environmental pressure that keeps players moving, planning, and adapting.

Oh, and also, if you want to keep your character **DO NOT LOG OUT IN A CITY OR VILLAGE OR MILITARY**.
Every city and village and military on freshy island is open to being gassed in near unpredictable ways. You are best to find a forest or a bush on a hilltop and camp out. Loging in after having logged out in a gas zone or an area that has been gassed in your absence - you will be Transported to the Devil's Ainiz, and have no choice but to F11.

To support this change, **NBC gear spawns have been increased by 250%**.
You’ll now have a far better chance of finding proper protection so you can engage with the new hazards instead of feeling punished by bad RNG (random number generation).

This marks the beginning of a **new wave of gameplay, balance, and immersion updates** coming throughout the next several weeks. For a long time, the focus has been worldbuilding: terrain, POIs, pathing, structural work, and the massive foundation Zelador requires. Because of that, the gameplay configuration side hasn’t always kept pace — and that’s something we fully acknowledge.

A few players raised concerns respectfully and constructively, and thanks to that approach, we’ve shifted priorities to bring gameplay back to the intended design.

The previously planned end-of-year map update is temporarily paused so we can **go all-in on gameplay tuning**, including:
- Increased challenge
- Stronger reasons to explore
- More reactive environmental systems
- Less frustration caused by outdated configs
- A game loop that better reflects what Zelador is meant to be

We are redesigning the internal structure of the **CMO Gaming Community**.

Our workload has grown to the point where a single department can no longer handle it all. To keep things moving forward, we are splitting tasks into smaller, focused departments. Each will be filled with motivated, capable, and self-starting individuals who can take responsibility and get things done.

This is not for those who wait around for direction. We’re looking for people with drive, open eyes, and the willingness to act. At the same time, teamwork is critical. You must be able to contribute to the collective flow of our development team—think of it as joining the Borg.

Where we’re at now:
- We need people who can work as a team.
- Communication, respect, and harmony are non-negotiable.
- These roles will grow into leadership positions as we expand.

Every new department is just as important as the others. Picture our community as a massive cog spinning with momentum. As it grows, smaller cogs branch off, syncing in harmony, building a larger, stronger machine. That is the bigger picture of our gaming community.

Our vision has always been to build a space where anyone can mesh in—whether to escape the daily grind, explore new games, or join creative projects. This community has grown into a developer’s hub, known for projects like **Zelador**, the largest 3D world DayZ has ever seen.

We are looking for someone passionate about community management to join our growing Discord community!

This is a **volunteer position**—we’re all in this together, working on the community as a labor of love.

Our flagship project is the **Zelador Map**—an expansive, custom-built DayZ world full of unique terrains and hidden secrets. We’re running three active gaming servers to showcase it:

- **DM**: Fast-paced entry arenas (40+ maps, 20-minute rotations)
- **CORE**: Admin-moderated with custom map and in-game mapping mods
- **NO KOS**: Harsh survival mode—no kill-on-sight policy, intense lone-wolf gameplay

On top of that, we’re building powerful Discord bots to keep things running smoothly:

- **CmoGameBot** for seamless account linking, point tracking, polls, and rewards
- **TheGoatBot** for event coordination, announcements, and server health checks

**What you’ll do:**
- Promote our map and servers across social platforms and in-game communities
- Organize events, contests, and regular meet-ups to keep engagement high
- Craft and schedule announcements, updates, and patch notes
- Moderate chats, welcome new members, and troubleshoot issues
