Our Story

Nick is an aspiring science fiction and horror writer and Brie, a comedy writer and performer both want to discuss the ways they cope with balancing their artistic endeavours along with life, jobs and family.

This sibling podcasting duo started The Constant Struggle podcast in the Winter of 2015 with the idea that this would be a helpful tool in ensuring the two of them keep each other in check on their respective creative projects.

Along the way, they began interviewing local comedy performers, writers, visual artists and other creatives who shared their own creative struggles as well as their successes and stories.

Nick and Brie continue to be inspired by their guests and to keep each other in check with every new episode of this monthly podcast, which celebrates local Canadian artists and performers in the noble pursuit of the artistic struggle.
