🌳 A peaceful escape in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Grange Park sits between the Art Gallery of Ontario and the historic St. George the Martyr Church, with one of the best views of the CN Tower. What many people don’t know is that this park was once the private garden of The Grange, a beautiful estate built in 1817 that is now part of the AGO.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, have a picnic, or enjoy the city skyline, Grange Park is one of Toronto’s hidden gems. 🏙️✨

Have you seen this place in downtown Toronto? 👀

🏛️ This is Osgoode Hall, one of Toronto’s oldest and most important historic buildings.

📅 It was built in 1829 and named after William Osgoode, the first Chief Justice of Upper Canada.

⚖️ Today, it’s still home to parts of Ontario’s legal system, including the Law Society of Ontario and courtrooms for the Court of Appeal.

🚪 It’s known for its distinctive iron gates and beautiful Victorian architecture.

🌳 The grounds also include peaceful gardens—an unexpected green space right in the middle of downtown Toronto.

📚 Inside, there’s also the historic Great Library, one of the most impressive legal libraries in Canada.

Most people walk past it without realizing how much history is inside this one place.
