The Sh*ttiest Thing Happened to Me Today 😭

I bought this used van for what I thought was a great deal!! The vehicle we're using right now for cleaning has definitely seen it's day....it leaks oil, the brakes are screwed etc etc. Just not worth fixing.

So a good friend of mine tells me a friend of his who I also know, has this van for Sale. The guy tells me he changed the emergency brake cable, did brakes all around....new this, new that...yada yada yada. He told me it was already pre-saftied and all I needed to do was fix a small hole in the rocker panel to have it pass.

Sounded Great!!! So I gave him $2700 cash and thought I'd be driving a safe vehicle in no time.

WRONG!!! He NEVER fixed ANY of these things and he DIDN'T have a pre-safety done. He out and out LIED to me. He literally looked me in the face and told me any friend of Jim's is a friend of his and he's happy to give me this "Great deal".

Now.... it's going to cost me an additional $1200 just for the parts (not including labour) to get everything that needs fixing before it'll safety to put on the road.
I literally DO NOT have that money....I drained what I had to pay for the van and get the rocker panel fixed.

I actually hate people right now. If I ever see that man again...I will not be held responsible.

About this photo.....back in 2019 I dressed my daughter up as a zombie and did a photo shoot of her in an abandoned house. It wasn't just any abandoned house...it was a complete time capsule! I did a walkthrough at an Airbnb this afternoon....I have so many questions 😬

This Airbnb does have a cleaner but they're looking for a back-up cleaner. These pictures are AFTER the cleaner was there 🤔.

I honestly am not the kind of person that will Sh*t talk another cleaner but, I was actually shocked here!! I had a Really hard time telling the owner of the airbnb that, in my opinion, these and SO many other things should be being done without sounding like I was bashing the current cleaner. I kinda felt obligated to let her know though since this is her business.

Should I have said nothing?? Uggghhhh.....
