Queen Babcia is back in the kitchen and this time she’s showing us how to make blueberry pierogies 👑

✨WHAT YOULL NEED🫐
• 500g of all-purpose flour
• 3 pints of blueberries
• 2 eggs
• half a stick of butter
• olive oil
• salt and pepper to taste
• 150 ml of warm water
• sour cream
• sugar

🫐METHOD✨
1. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, and slowly pour in the warm water while mixing.
2. Add in some olive oil and add in salt and 2 egg yolks. Mix and knead the dough - I find using your hands is best for this. Set aside.
3. Roll the dough out so it’s flat, and using a cup, cut out circles. You’ll fill these circles with the filing to make little pierogies.
4. Now time for the filing: blueberries!!! I add about 4 blueberries (depending on the size) per pieróg.
4. You’re halfway done so treat yourself to a cold Polish b**r!
5. Heat water in a large pot, salt it and then add in your pierogies for about 5mins until they float.
6. Melt your butter in a pan
7. Mix sour cream with a spoonful of sugar if you want an extra topping
8. Top your boiled pierogies with some butter and sour cream!

Everyone’s posting their Euro summer… but can you believe this isn’t Europe? It’s actually just 2 hours from Toronto. 🇨🇦

We recently took City Cruises Canada 1-hour sightseeing cruise through the 1000 Islands, and it reminded us how many beautiful places we have right here in Ontario.
