I attempted to savour every last moment of summer this year. I put my phone down a lot and read, explored, did projects, had family time, drank lots of tea, and oh yeah, hurt my back for a month. :/

Happy birthday Gary!!!! 😻🎉

Our little baby boy turns 18 today!!
Well, this is when we celebrate… and he’s at least 18. That’s the fun of adopting an adult kitty from a shelter, when he was “around 2” 😻

I always say Gary has the best parts of all of my cats throughout the years. He’s the sweetest, kindest, most gentle and loving kitty ever.

He’s brings so much love to our home. ❤️

Today is my brother Rob’s birthday. He would have been 56 today. A friend asked me if I had a fav memory of him.

There was almost 10 years between us, so our relationship always seemed to weave between siblings and parent type figure.

However, I have many memories that I hold dear to my heart. I’m lucky enough to have the last voicemail that he left me. I remember parking the car outside of Sears, listening to the message, and calling him back. I had something to tell him, and I was nervous, but he was steady, calm, reassuring, and offered me valuable advice.

Older memories I have with Rob include skiing together, his singing and laughter, his typical “well yes and no” responses.

This morning I listened to his voicemail.
This afternoon I listened to a song that reminds me of him… “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.

Forever my brother. ❤️‍🩹
