Jimmy Kimmel’s late night talk show, which was abruptly pulled from the air last week after the U.S. government threatened broadcasters, will be back on Tuesday, Disney announced Monday.

The sudden suspension by ABC, which is owned by Disney, came after conservative complaints about comments Kimmel had made in the wake of the shooting of Christian activist Charlie Kirk.

“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” said a company statement.

“It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.

“We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Bible Hill Recreation Park will be closed for construction work beginning Tuesday, September 23, until further notice.

Barricades and signage will be in place. We ask that you please do not enter the park during this time.

A section of Robie Street will be closed tomorrow.

𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 | 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯

The Town of Truro Environmental Services will be conducting necessary hydrant replacement on Robie Street, between Longworth Avenue and George Street, on Tuesday, September 23 from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Residents in the affected area will experience water service interruptions during this period.

Robie Street will be closed to through traffic between Longworth Avenue and George Street. Local traffic will be permitted, and detours will be in place.
