Not gonna lie! This weekend was a dream! Brought some amazing people to my hometown TBC. Since starting The Frog Radio, I’ve been a HUGE fan of Shub, so to be able to share my love of his music with the kids of northern BC was incredible!

As many of you know, I balance my life running this station and working for , raising awareness for missing and murdered loved ones and their families. We are also dedicated to prevention by uplifting our youth. Which is why I put so much energy into, love and hope into the 3rd You Are Somebody (YAS) Youth Conference. And check out this lineup!

If you take off your shirt and have second thoughts, you can take back your consent.
If you’re in bed and change your mind, you can take back your consent.
YOU CAN TAKE BACK YOUR POWER ANYTIME!
As my wise friend said, the fact that they felt they needed to film consent speaks volumes.
Ladies, let’s learn from this. The system clearly doesn’t protect us, so we need to protect ourselves and each other.
And MORE IMPORTANT let’s teach our boys this! If they’re ever in a situation where the girl does not say yes, they stop. If they ever feel the need to film “consent”, you probably shouldn’t engage.
These cases infuriate me. But they also activate me to do something positive and continue to fuel my work on prevention with
