Be careful out there, folks! One of my employees at the local Beaumont Whataburger took this “$100” bill as payment for someone’s Double Whataburger plaine dry with cheese. It feels like real money, even smells like real money, but the president’s forehead is way too dang big and the “100” printings look nothing like the real ones I handle every single day. And trust me, I’d know — I’ve been working at this Whataburger since I graditated high school 5 years ago.

I found this fake bill during my end-of-night cash audit and just about lost my mind. I had to suspend the employee who accepted it (pending investigation, of course) because who knows if they were in on the scam.

After crunching the numbers and declaring a $100 loss, I made sure nobody else could pass this thing around. I confiscated it and took it home with me — better safe than sorry before someone else falls for this obviously fake bill.

So keep your eyes open, y’all. People are sneaky out here and always trying to get one over on big corporations like Whataburger!

Strange silicon tube, ribbed on the inside.
Our teenage son spent a year studying in the States and came back with gifts. I got a Simon and Garfunkel album and my wife got a nice bright red (Mexican?) plate used for grating garlic and ginger etc. Both lovely gifts but the plate came with a small brush and this strange blue silicone tube and we can’t for the life of us figure out what it is for. $112.50 for an oil change on a Toyota??! They didnt GET A DOLLAR outta me!!! I told the manager straight up, “Sir, I didn’t ask for an engine swap, I just needed the oil changed!” The Audacity!!! I Took my keys, waved goodbye, and drove off like a man who just escaped a timeshare presentation.
From now on, me and my Toyota getting our oil changed at Walmart!!!

This receipt has been circulating online, and what’s bothering people isn’t the bill—it’s the handwritten note questioning a $7 tip on a $78 total. Payment was already completed, yet there’s still pressure afterward to add more. That’s where many customers draw the line. A tip is meant to reflect service, not function like a mandatory surcharge enforced after the fact. For a lot of Americans, this feels less like appreciation and more like expectation—especially as dining costs continue to rise.
