Care to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, establish lactation, have rest, improve digestion through diet, and incision and tear care.
Comfort measure – how to get out of bed, bleeding, after pains
Explaining the changes occurring in your body.
Talk about latch, engorgement, bottle feeding, supplementing, pumping.
Document medication intake.
Making meals, doing laundry, keeping kitchen tidy.
Create a relaxing environment for recovery and bonding with child.
Listen to your birth experience if you wish to share.
You deserve to be heard, understood and care for postpartum. Hire a postpartum doula!
