Wow, wow, wow—what a season for Team Canada at Les Grands Feux du Casino!
They took home Fan Favourite—and if you saw my Wednesday post, you know exactly why.
I made it to 3 of the 5 evenings, and these are my top two shots from each night—starting with Team Canada, who lit up the sky and made my photos look unforgettable.

Did you see Team Canada’s show last night? OMG—it was beautiful and grand.
I couldn’t believe the view I picked would turn out to be so unique. Huge thanks to .cna for the opportunity to end my season with a bang. I’m still in awe.

What if the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen was just one trip away?
Planning a Banff getaway? Lake Louise alone is worth the flight. This isn’t just a lake—it’s an all-day experience.

First challenge: capturing that iconic view without someone stepping into your shot. The second challenge is deciding how far to walk—just to the end of the lake or all the way around. Trust me, you’ll stop at least 30 times to breathe it all in.

Then, strap on a life jacket and get on the water. That unreal turquoise blue? You haven’t truly seen it until you’ve seen it from a canoe.

Cap it all off with lunch at Château Lake Louise—because this day deserves a five-star finish.

This was one of my shortest—but most memorable—stays: .off. We arrived in the evening and left the next morning. And honestly? Don’t do what we did. The time crunch nearly cost us our train.

Still, we made the most of this bucket list stop—ice cream mishap on my camera, too tired to reach the top, and definitely not enough time to walk the 10km back to the hotel.

Lesson learned: give yourself a few days in this charming Normandy village. It’s worth it.

Ottawa has one basilica that stops you in your tracks from the outside—but the inside will leave you speechless.
The , right on Sussex Street, is a landmark so many people walk past without stepping inside. But they’re missing some of the most breathtaking architecture and colour work in the city.

It actually took me years to finally walk in—and now, I make it a point to stop every chance I get. The space is serene, beautiful, and unforgettable.

This time, I had special access to capture these images. What do you think?

Tonight’s fireworks from Team Australia Foti Fireworks, I wanted to experiment with Kiweki Point. I love the results, even if I wanted to change location, but it was too late.
