Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is sit quietly and listen.

This season of my life has been about learning.

Learning from communities.
Learning from Elders.
Learning from families.
Learning from people in every province who simply want a good future for their children.

Big ideas don’t have to begin in big buildings.

Sometimes they begin on a beach…
with one chair…
and one honest conversation.

We’re in no rush.

Imagine a room where there are no campaign speeches.

No microphones.

No political labels.

Just neighbours gathered around a long table with soup, coffee, and honest conversation.

Everyone has a story.
Everyone has something to teach.
Everyone deserves to be heard.

The Long Table is a simple idea:

Listen first.
Understand second.
Build together.

Our hope is to begin bringing these conversations to communities across Canada in 2027, one table at a time.

Because maybe the best ideas for our future don’t begin in Parliament.

Maybe they begin around a shared table.

Ten years ago, I picked up a microphone and started asking questions.

Not because I had all the answers.

Because I believed Canadians did.

Over 8,000 conversations later, I’ve learned something simple:

We may not agree on everything, but most of us want the same things for our children, our communities, and our future.
