Flip through to clear up any confusion. For even more insights, read the detailed explanations below. ⬇ This info is sure to impress at your next meeting… or cocktail party. 🍸

➡ A WORDMARK is a logo made entirely of the brand’s name. While Coca-Cola might immediately come to mind, we’ve referenced the work we did for Quikcard as an example.

➡ A LETTERMARK (also known as a monogram) is a logo made of initials or abbreviations. Think IBM or CNN. You can also reference our designs for Fulton Creek Business Park.

➡ A PICTURIAL MARK is a recognizable icon, symbol, or image—one that represents a specific company. For example, Target or Apple. You can also check out the picture mark we did for Crestwood Community.

💡 A LOGO is the visual mark that represents your company or organization. Think McDonald’s golden arches or Nike’s swoosh.

💡A VISUAL IDENTITY includes all the graphic components that make up your brand's look—logo, colour palette, fonts, and design style.

💡BRAND IDENTITY includes all the elements that define your brand. This includes everything mentioned in the visual identity above ⬆️, PLUS non-visual cues, such as taglines, tone, language conventions, and messaging. In short, it’s the complete package.

💡A BRAND represents the holistic impression that people have about your company or organization based on their interactions and experiences. In simpler terms, it's how you make them feel.
