Sometimes business feels like survival.
Ask me how I know.

There was a season where I barely made it through. Behind the scenes, I was drowning. No matter how hard I worked, it never felt like enough.

I couldn’t see the way out. SO frustrating. I didn’t have clarity about what to let go of, what to double down on, or how to stop being the bottleneck in my own company.

So I started crafting questions.
Not fluffy journal prompts - the real questions I couldn’t seem to get to the bottom of on my own.

The ones that went straight to the root:

👉 Where was I forcing instead of flowing?
👉 What was I clinging to that I needed to release?
👉 What would my business look like if it actually ran without me?

I didn’t start this business because I wanted to be a CEO.
I started it because I didn’t want to miss bedtime.
Back then, I was holding a baby on my hip and a laptop in my lap.
And I had this unshakable conviction:
There had to be a way to build something meaningful
without burning out, checking out, or selling out.
I didn’t want to choose between motherhood and mission.
Between financial freedom and faithfulness.
Between being present or being powerful.
But I’ll be honest…
I still got caught.
In the hustle.
In the striving.
In trying to prove I could do it all.
And I nearly lost the very things I was building for.
So I stopped.
I listened.
I surrendered what looked “successful”
to rebuild something truly sustainable.
Now?
I lead from peace, not pressure.
I build from alignment, not adrenaline.
And I help others do the same, through the work I share here and the community I lead inside the Incubator.

This one might hit close to home…
because I’ve lived it too.
The strategy you outgrew.
The program that’s still on the calendar.

🤫We’ve been holding onto a secret…

BABY!

❤️‍🩹Something equally touching as it was heartbreaking: Listening to our children pray each night for the blessing of another child, not knowing if their prayers would be answered.

But as a sweet friend of mine reminded me after the last year of loss and trying to lean into hope, our God is a redeeming God. He truly is! We are so grateful for this little one that will join our family!

We kept this special news close to the vest for some time, relishing in this miracle with our families and close friends.

The kids are so overjoyed, and so are we🙏🏽 And although the first few months were spent quietly battling sickness and worry as the show still went on, I’m now cherishing the kicks and tummy-cuddles from our kids like never before!

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us, reached out to us, and came along for the journey as we navigated this last year or so as a family. It can’t be overstated: we felt it.

I had no idea 🥺

I had no idea that I was running in the wrong direction.

That God was calling me into my own evolution and reimagining as I tried to hold tightly to what I knew.

I had no idea what could come from letting go and walking bravely into the unknown.

The richness, prosperity, and possibility that was waiting for me if I just believed.

I get it now, but it took me some time. More than I care to admit.

Now I look back to remember the journey, versus trying to reclaim it.

It’s tempting to base our future on what we know, what we’ve experienced, who we were…

But is that what we’re called to do?

I don’t think so. At least not any longer.

Anyway, just sharing this little revelation and the freedom that’s come with it. It’s been really nice 💙
