By now, some of you coming here to check out Sonic Alley Studios must really be wondering wtf is going on, how is all this connected? WHO is the wizard? Why does some local guy run a "not a studio"?...

The fact is, Sonic Alley Studios started as a local book by-the-hour studio but then closed to become a private production studio for Aka The Wizard.

As a result, a record label of sorts has taken shape under the Sonic Alley brand name and is now the current form of the idea.

The brand helps artists through collaboration and seeking to help the next independent artist become their own business to deal in the disciplines a record label performs on their own either through contract or training to do it yourself.

We release records to the music industry almost weekly at this point on all platforms for/with different artists on many levels from helping nail down the physical recording process and selecting gear to use, to helping get album cover art from a trusted source and upload the release.

In the future, we may manage the entire process of advocating for the artist like a DSP currently would. But allow the artists to do it all and maintain it, and own it.
