Last week I reached out to B R E T T K I S S E L in hopes to surprise Jannelle with a meet and greet. However, she decided to do the same and he messaged her back first inviting us to meet him(yes I gave him s**t for this when we met him LOL) So although I wasn’t able to surprise her, he still made this moment happen.

I seriously can’t believe I found this at a garage sale today for $40 CAD 😭📺

We were literally on our way to pick up dinner around 6pm when we drove past a garage sale and somehow hubby spotted this out of the corner of his eye 😂

I’ve been trying to find a CRT TV with a built-in VCR for the longest time. I wanted one so badly, but everything I was finding was either way too expensive or nowhere near our budget.

After I finally gave up looking, I settled for a regular CRT TV instead… and then THIS just casually shows up at a random garage sale. 😂

For $40 🤯

I guess sometimes you really do have to speak things into the universe and eventually they find their way to you. ✨

Now I just need to find some VHS tapes for myself to bring this baby back to life! 😂

I didn’t realize how emotional this day was going to feel until we were on our way there. 🥹💔

Today is our last park playdate of the summer, and it feels like the end of an era.

My son’s best friends are all starting kindergarten this year, while he gets to stay home with me for one more year. And honestly, I have such mixed feelings about it.

I’m so excited for them and all the fun they’re going to have, but it breaks my mama heart a little knowing they won’t be together every day anymore. They’ve grown up playing together, making memories together, and watching them all head into this next chapter is just emotional.

Next fall will be our turn. His last year at home with me is officially here, and I already know I’m going to blink and it’ll be time for kindergarten.

So today, I’m soaking up every minute of this playdate and trying not to think about how quickly these little years are going by.

Apparently moms aren’t allowed to eat dinner in peace. 😂

I swear the SECOND I sit down to eat, suddenly everyone in this house forgets how to function without me.

And before anyone says “just tell them no” have you ever actually met a mom?! 😂 We spend all day taking care of everyone, and somehow even sitting down for 10 minutes to eat is considered asking too much.
