Each day brings new change. Transformation is a foundational story telling element in many Squamish legends. It can be a form of honouring a pivotal role that someone has played in history or a cautionary tale to those who could make similar mistakes. Like the cycle of the salmon we all will return to the earth one day, and the ways we have transformed will determine how our stories are told.

I spent some time this year prepping some holiday cards featuing some of my favourite iconic animals! If you want to pick up one or the full set of five come to one of the next markets I will be attending this year!

I was lucky enough to work with Squamish Hereditary Chief Janice George and Buddy Joseph on an animation project this year. Working with a team that specializes in Unreal Engine rendering, I provided characters and graphic design. Here is one of the characters who I based on a story told to me by Janice George Siam. The story is of a man who climbs a mountain and transforms into a goat.
