Bentley loved anything that moved. The sidecar was a huge part of his life, and when someone crashed into it, the lack of adventures definitely got him down. While we waited for it to be fixed, I bought him a Nihola cargo bike. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures or video of riding him in it, but the few times we used it, he loved it. He always loved a bike trailer behind the bike, but not being able to see what he was doing made me nervous.
My plan was always to add an electric peddle assist, build a comfortable spot for him in the cargo bed and add the “bullet bob” teeth look to it like the sidecar.
Unfortunately Bentley passed suddenly and the bike has been collecting dust in storage. A great idea without a passenger.
Well, it’s too cool for dust, so hopefully someone else would want to take their kids or dog(s) on adventures in it. I paid just over $5000 for it. I have it listed on FB Marketplace for $3500 but I’m open to offers. I have a pickup, so I can deliver it around Vancouver. Would love to find it a new home.
If it’s what you’ve been looking for, or never knew you needed until now, let me know. Or have a look for it on FB.
