Gospel Commonwealth represents a diverse group of Christian musicians and worship leaders from local churches around the globe. Together we exist as a resource to provide Christ-exalting songs and liturgies for the church. Why We Sing

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual song, with thank

fulness in your hearts to God.” — Colossians 3:16

We want to help God’s people sing to one another because—as God’s redeemed people—we are to be a people who sing. We want to equip Jesus’ disciples to teach and admonish one another, and hear his people express thankfulness from their hearts to God. We want to give songs to the saints so that they can declare our King and his Kingdom to the world around us. Our Songs

“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord” — Psalm 40:3

There should be no shortage of songs that sing of the glory and grace of our God. The complete catalogue of songs, hymns, and spiritual songs written throughout church history doesn’t come close to expressing the greatness of our God and the wonders of the gospel we proclaim. We will always need new songs that show us more of the glory of Christ.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone has come alongside Gospel Commonwealth and partnered together with us in ministry. 100% of our ministry is made possible by your faithful support. We have so many exciting things on the calendar for this year including 2 worship intensives, 2 song writers retreats, lord willing multiple songs recorded and released. Pat’s salary is also something we’re trying to fundraise this year. Having Pat on staff at GC allows us to practically make all these GC dreams a reality.

Here’s an encouragement from Pat for this Tuesday morning to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives on a regular basis.

The more we open ourselves up to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, the more we see the areas in our life that need surrender to God. Then and only then can we see our sin for what it is. This allows us to be filled with the Holy Spirit, when we’re filled with the Holy Spirit we’re inviting Christ to come take his place as King in our lives.
