Designed by Olga Bondarenko, this 100 sqm apartment in Moscow feels like part gallery, part everyday sanctuary.

Warm woods, soft whites, and sculptural lighting set a quiet tone. A textile wall piece by the Bouroullec brothers anchors the living space, while thoughtful details, like a red faucet in the kitchen or mirrored wardrobes in the bedroom, bring personality without noise.

From the floating glass base in the kitchen to playful art inspired by children’s drawings, every corner is considered but never overworked. It’s a home that doesn’t separate art from life; it lives in the in-between.

Softhouse’s Motel collection turns furniture into characters—each piece imagined as part of a mysterious, cinematic hotel.

With curved lines, rich textures, and bold silhouettes, the collection plays with mood and material in all the right ways. It’s design with a strong point of view, made to be remembered.

Coffee, cocktails, and a place to catch your breath. Ellipsis is set to open later this summer inside the iconic Waterfall Building by Arthur Erickson.

Part café, part bar, the 2,800-square-foot space is designed for slowing down, connecting, and staying a while. Located just outside Granville Island, it’s a new concept by longtime café operator Ming Yang.

The interiors, by SML Studio and Tetherstone Construction, balance Erickson’s concrete-and-glass geometry with warm lighting, soft textures, and a few bold shapes that echo the building’s architectural language.

More than just another café; Ellipsis is built for presence.

Tucked deep in the forests of Xishuangbanna, ALAN Resort feels more discovered than designed. Built along the Lancang River, the 3,500-square-metre retreat by takes its cues from the land with stone volumes rising with the terrain, shadows dancing between tree trunks, and water guiding the rhythm of arrival.

Led by designer Robin Luo, the project moves with intention, not spectacle. Sloping roofs mirror the mountains. Corridors frame light and breeze. Pools reflect the sky above and the forest around.

Suites open into private gardens, while upper floors give long views of distant peaks. Indoors, worn timber and vintage furniture ground the space in time. Nothing tries too hard; everything belongs.

In London’s Belgravia, a 19th-century townhouse is reimagined by into a quiet mix of heritage and modern European design.

Spread over three floors, the home moves between eras: Bauhaus armchairs meet Art Deco lines, Charlotte Perriand sits alongside Chandigarh originals. Mahogany, marble, bouclé, and stone shape the mood, calm, rich, and deliberate.

The standout? A double-height living room with a five-metre library wall and rooftop terrace. The principal bath, carved entirely from green marble, doesn’t hold back either.

A space made for living slowly and beautifully.

High in the Costa Rican mountains, Casa Salvaje by is off-grid living with a sharp edge. Solar-powered and spring-fed, the house is grounded in raw concrete and geometry, yet disappears into the green around it.

Built to weather storms and time, its form plays with shadow, light, and the steep terrain.

On Scott Street, a 1940s Federation home gets a quiet lift. With a new layout across the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, the house now moves with family life without losing what made it special.

The flow is clearer, the materials warmer, the function sharper without sacrificing heritage details.

In a quiet home in Finland, designer Lotta Agaton brings together the softness of Scandinavian design with the bold lines of brutalism. Earth tones meet textured stone. Lime-based plaster wraps the walls. Natural oak adds weight and warmth.

No excess; just balance. Every surface, every proportion, carefully considered.

This quiet living space leans into warmth. Arc windows pull in the light, soft tones keep it there. Beige walls, natural textures, and a calm rhythm of materials create a space that feels lived-in, not styled.

It’s not just cozy, it’s clear. A place to pause, soften, and stay awhile.

About

I was always working, socializing, exercising, traveling... always doing something. Then I looked around and realized that everyone else was also doing the same - living their lives at an extreme pace and hardly ever finding time to look reflect or to internalize knowledge that may have passed by in a fleeting moment.

Admit it, you have been overwhelmed in the past day, month or year by just daily happenings around you. Our intention is to create inspirational content featuring people, places, products that intrigue, encouraging you to pause, think, digest, ideate and go forth stronger with clarity. You will read about culture, business, trends, travel, lifestyle - but most importantly, we seek to be a part of building your inspired mind and lifestyle.
