To our valued dye community,
We wanted to let you know that due to our studio work being part-time, we've been struggling to keep up with custom orders over the past few months.

As a result, we've made the difficult decision to temporarily stop accepting new orders so we can focus on completing the existing work in our studio. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

✨ We aren't just dyers that work out of our studio full time; we are also textile artists that work mainly on film and television productions! 

This year we are so excited to announce, that between the two of us, 3 teams that we've worked with have been nominated for a Caftcad award for "Excellence in Crafts-Textiles". 

These awards focus on categories in the Canadian costume department. 

This is a huge honour because we aren't usually recognized for our craft and most people don't even realize it exists! 

Congratulations to all the nominees, friends, and colleagues in all categories!

⚫️ Can we share a secret with you?

This was a little experimental 🤫

A client brought in her hikers to be dyed black. We can’t dye shoes like we can dye fabric, so we used a combination of alcohol based paints to achieve these results. Finished off with a silicone water-guard.

BOOM💥

We’ll touch base with her in a month or so to see how the paint is handling the terrain.
