From the first time I strapped on those bulky pads to defending the net at the CAN Pro-Am tournament,
My journey as a goalie has been filled with countless saves and invaluable lessons. š„

When I first moved to Vancouver, I felt out of place ā much like a puck outside the rink.
But then, hockey happened.
As I took on the role of the last line of defense, I learned more than just catching pucks
I learned about resilience, community, and the power of perseverance.
Every shot I've faced, every game I've played, has been a step closer to finding my true self.
And the best part?
Seeing kids with autism get the same opportunity through the Canucks Autism Network.
Every dive, every save, brings a unique joy to them ā a chance to shine and be a hero in their own right.
Now, as I gear up for my 3rd CAN Pro-Am tournament, I'm not just playing for the thrill; I'm playing for a cause.
A cause that brings hockey and hope to many.
