All of this allows us to guarantee a positive viewing experience for your audience. As a lifelong entrepreneur and video production enthusiast, Leaders Media founder Trevor Marples began attending educational events at the age of 17. In the following years Trevor frequented seminars, workshops and conferences around Vancouver, and soon was hired to film many of these same events. He quickly discovered that his experience in event videography gave him a specialized skill set that wasn’t available through most video production or AV companies. This evolved into Leaders Media taking on event video production projects for other media companies, and shifted Trevor’s full time focus to filming events, workshops, and seminars across BC. In addition to filming events, he has been involved with producing them, serving as the Communications Director for TEDxWhiteRock in 2018, and as a co-organizer and the Technology Lead for the annual TEDxBearCreekPark event. Today the Leaders Media team empowers educators, associations and non-profit organizations, to amplify their impact in the world.

What will the word looks like after AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) has surpassed human capability? This the question asked at the Post-AGI Equilibria (PACE) Workshop hosted by the University of Toronto Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society

The event brought together researchers and bright minds to explore deep questions such as how we can safeguard human interests in a world where AI exceeds the limits of human performance, and how institutions, coordination, and governance might evolve in response.

Our team handled both AV multi-cam recording of the presentations, which will be available on YouTube shortly. Grateful to be part of such a timely and forward-looking conversation. Huge thanks to our crew Jarred, Tim, Ethan, and everyone who helped make the day smooth and successful.

Some summer fun producing Volleyball BC's 2025 Vancouver Open live stream, July 11–13 at Kits Beach. It was a energetic weekend with athlete from around the world and lively crowds both on-site and online. Over 4,000 viewers tuned in from 27 countries and 96 states.

We had a great time filming the Voices With Impact 2025 premiere by , a thoughtful event centered on mental health and the power of storytelling through short film.

We recorded interviews with the filmmakers, and a series of panel discussions exploring these ideas following the premiers.

📁 From our June archives: we had the absolute joy of capturing Season 12 of The Happening Dance Studio from the Playhouse theatre. With over 600 students and more than 100 performances, it was awe-inspiring to witness the dedication, skills and technical precision of new and experienced dancers.

It's a privilege to preserve these moments for the students, their families, and community. We loved being part of it. Sizzle video coming soon! 🎥

Had such a great time at Victoria filming TEDxVictoria 2025 at the McPherson Playhouse. It was a full day of inspiring talks, performances, and a beautiful audience.

We recorded everything with multiple cameras, live audio, and slide captures. We also edited and delivered all footage and edits to the TEDx team.

Huge thanks to John, Caron, and the whole team that contributed to the success of the production.

Spent the weekend filming TEDxYouth@GrandviewHeights 2025 at Annes Theatre. Our team put together a full multi-cam setup, pro audio systems and mics, as well as smooth lighting to capture the great voices and ideas worth spreading. Big thanks to my team, Tedx Grandview Heights and other amazing people who made this production beautiful.

We were privileged to cover the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology 2025 Graduation Ceremony from the stunning Musqueam Cultural Centre, celebrating the achievements of the students and the rich culture of the institution.

The event included the conferral of degrees to this year’s graduates, traditional drumming and singing, plus messages from elders, past graduates and faculty. We provided multi-camera live streaming to the NVIT YouTube channel for friends and family of graduates around the globe to take part in the occasion.

We're looking forward to continued collaborations with the NVIT team in the years ahead!

The event brought together 240+ of the brightest minds in climate tech from Canada, the US, UK, France, Japan, and Brazil. We were there to capture every moment from panel insights to pitch moments and lobby conversations.

We provided AV support, managing projection and audio for presentations, captured standout photos, and captured b-roll and interviews for a short highlight video, telling the story of the day.

Presenters includes leaders of local organizations doing groundbreaking research and providing solutions to reverse climate change, including General Fusion , Carbon Engineering, NorthX Climate Tech and more.

Big shout out to Hikori Kudo and Vancouver Venture Asset Management for creating this unique event to bring the global climatetech community together.

🎓 For the second year we had the privilege of broadcasting the SelfDesign Commencement Ceremony from Coast Hotels Tsawwassen.

In addition to stream the event to learner's and their families from Quebec to Al Qāhirah, we provide AV for the commencement, assisting with playback of music and videos, plus IMAG projection of the cameras to the screens so everyone in the full house had a clear view of the celebration.

Congratulations to all the learners and thank you to SelfDesign for trusting us once again with production of this milestone event.🎊

We were excited to work with Providence Health Care and PHSA to produce and stream the Pacific Pain Forum 2025, held at UBC Robson Square. This interdisciplinary event brought together leading experts to share the latest innovations in pain management.

Our team handled all inclusive AV production — from multi-camera filming, Zoom webinar integration and breakout room coverage — ensuring a seamless experience for both in-person and remote attendees.

We had the opportunity to collaborate with New Ventures BC to provide complete AV and live streaming for their 2025 IP Summit.

The event featured a series of presentation and panel discussions from seasoned entreprenerds in a variety of fields, and concluded with a fireside chat between Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, Diana Gibson and Innovate BC President, Peter Cowan.

Our team delivered:

We had an amazing time filming TEDxRRU 2025 - a gathering of changemakers and bold ideas - at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC on May 2nd.
Our crew captured sessions from brilliant speakers such as Alina Pete Beerinder Singh Solara Goldwynn and a host of many others who shared insights around the theme of Changemaking.

With the event wrapped, now comes the fun of watching it all again while editing these talks so they are polished to perfection before being posted to the official TEDx YouTube, where these ideas are shared with their 40 million followers.
