Ani Kyd music

Ani Kyd music In 2005 she released her first solo album
Evil Needs Candy Too on the Alternative Tentacles label,
produced by herself and Jello Biafra. Experiment.

Ani has been a fixture in the Vancouver music and
entertainment scene for over 20 years and has several diverse
projects in her resumé — everything from performing in
punk, metal, rock and blues bands, to creating short films,
TV pilots and music videos. In 2011 her metal/rock
band Fuel Injected.45 released the album Past Demo‑ns,
also on the Alternative Tentacles label. In 2010 she started

Sugar Skull Films, and since then
has directed and produced 10 music videos, the short film
I Love You…I Am the Porn Queen, and the comedy TV pilot
The P.I. She continues to write, direct and
create new and interesting film projects.
2013 sees Ani arrive at a new and exciting time in her life. She’s teamed up with composer and multi-intrumentalist
Stephen Hamm (himself a Vancouver music semi-legend). Together they’ve composed a new kind of classical music
featuring dark, haunting lyrics accompanied
by piano, cello and violins.
