Busy times coming up! In addition to my usual 8pm-2am shifts at the Cat & Fiddle Pub, I'll be DJing Saturday 12-4pm at the Green Timbers Family Day in Surrey. Going to be an awesome fun event, surrounded by nature and filled with community vibes.

And now, introducing the new ride -> 2012 Toyota Rav4. It's got 4WD, with large passenger seats for the fam, good capacity trunk + fold-flat seats = enough space to upgrade the DJ business. And roof racks for the kayak! Oh did I mention 4 cyl engine is half the cost to fill the tank. Damn I may be getting sensible in my old age...although far less cool (obviously)

After seven years driving my uber-cool Volkswagen Eurovan (colour code: Techno Blue), it was time for a change. This van got me my first paid DJ gigs; carried my family on school runs and summer vacations; pivoted to a grocery delivery vehicle during COVID...and helped me score a DJ residency in Port Coquitlam.

A weird electrical surge in February left it D.O.A...but I ordered the rare parts from Lativa on eBay and resurrected it by April. Put up for sale in June, sold four days later to a VW lover and auto detailer who will give it love in it's golden years.

As for me? I got a 2012 Toyota 4 cyl, gotta hustle that $$!

The Filipino community was hit hard last night, and all of Vancouver is hurting. Our neighbours, workmates and friends have been attacked - Happy people enjoying a community festival, being run down…such senseless violence is hard to comprehend.
No photos of police or a crime scene, this is a memorial at Fraser & 43rd. Let’s keep the focus on the victims and the community’s strength.

Saturday afternoons are kind of a “holding pattern” for this DJ - Friday night late, going back this evening, so gotta stay sharp…and I gotta say, these Heineken 0.0 alcohol free are the closest substitute I’ve found. Sure, nothing beats a beer in my books, but cracking a cold *something* in the sun is still worthwhile when you have to work/drive later.
