Trying to raise a kid in the age of iPads without letting the iPad actually raise my kid 😂

I’m not an anti-screen-time mom. I’m a “can we at least make SOME of this screen time useful?” mom 😅

And honestly, Epic for Kids has been such a good find for us. 📚✨

Epic is basically a massive digital library made for kids, with 40,000+ books, audiobooks and learning videos — plus Read-To-Me books, which we LOVE.

He still gets the excitement of being on his iPad and choosing what he wants, but instead of me hearing Minecraft videos playing in the background for the 700th time… he’s reading. 😂

Do I still have to tell him to get off the iPad? Absolutely.

Do I feel significantly less guilty when THIS is what he’s doing on it? ALSO YES. 😂

Parenting in 2026 is basically picking your battles, and I’m counting Epic for Kids as a win. 🤷🏼‍♀️📚

If you were waiting for a sign to treat yourself this Valentine’s Day… this is it 💘💅

Found the cutest little nail spot on Denman Street and I’m obsessed. The brought my nails back to life with a custom gel manicure + nail art that was done with so much care.
