The Government during Covid was not a democracy. That's what dictatorships looked like. Making unconstitutional laws without any legal justification or ramifications is an authoritarian state, not a democracy.
FYI Canada's Charter was created to eventually reign in a dictatorship. First amendment confirms that. You dont have rights when the Government can -make up excuses- to take them away.
This is reality: Trudeau was the only person who was affective in turning people against his Government. He says, "democracy" like his Government is an example of one. No, the people were against him, not democracy.
Politics is a game. So the word 'democracy' here is being used to scapegoat his government and to hide his political motives. The protestors weren't attacking us, they were attacking democracy!
"There aren't any solutions to big complex problems." Oh? You mean your solution of jabbing people with a shot, that still allows you to spread Covid, or else you'll lose your business, job, career, by extension mortgage, groceries, life, and be banned from travel, didn't work?
Gosh, I wonder why people, who knew the shot didn't work before it rolled out, would get upset and want to speak to Trudeau about restoring their livelihoods? Instead of the Emergencies Act being illegally enforced, why didn't Trudeau just talk to the Convoy organizers? That's what the organizers wanted.
Yet Trudeau's solution was to call them racist, sexist, bigots, and to never discuss the concerns.
Do you think our Prime Minister is actually dumb enough to not know the shots don't work?
When you realize the answer is no, then you'll realize we are living in an authoritarian state.
