I've been getting roasted because of the way I hold the pan bar 🤏 (don't worry though the shots were absolute cinema)

That's a big ol' wrap on BYE, CHAT (psychological thriller short) 🎬

First of many thanks goes to writer/producer who first approached me with the wild script for his film which he entrusted me to shoot. So honored to have been your DP on the project (even if that meant hauling gear over 5 floors) 😉 You maintained such a light hearted atmosphere and ensured the whole team felt valued.

Secondly, I have sheer gratitude towards who saw my crazy creative shot ideas as no only doable but necessary. Her open-minded collaboration style made the whole process so much fun! Not to mention she is an absolute force of nature in the director's chair! 💖

Lastly but never least my unwavering appreciation goes to my whole camera team. Hooman my 1st AC who rose the challenge of focus pulling a Steadicam shot down a dark hallway at T2.0. Markus my 2nd AC who made sure we always had battery power along with the quickest B-Cam build I've ever witnessed. Kane on Steadicam seriously blew me away, his ability to take notes and then apply that effortlessly to the take is something to behold! Rashi as my dolly grip seriously came through on so many levels (both figuratively and literally) and her enthusiasm to also jib operate made my job all the smoother! My whole lighting and grip team was a privilege to collaborate with. Nate, Karthik and Theo, you guys sure know timing when it came to triggering 12 Aputure MCs to all change at once. Huge round of applause for all of you!! 🙌

Some not-so-new film work is up in collaboration with Corey Malone Creative!

Last Meal was created for the Run N Gun: Vancouver's 48hr Film Competition for the 2024 festival cycle and snagged a spot in the Main Event to screen at the Orpheum! We couldn't be prouder of this little gem.
