Back in August, Sohra and Rahaa ran a small lemonade stand and raised $92, with a clear intention to use it to buy toys for newcomers. Life and schedules got busy, and it took a little longer than planned, but before the year came to an end, we were able to make it happen.
With the help of our dear friend , who generously made this possible, they completed their drop-off and personally delivered the toys and clothing they had carefully collected. I am deeply grateful to Zahra, someone who consistently shows up for the community and continues to make a meaningful difference.
For me, this moment meant more than just a kind gesture. It was a reminder that humanity knows no boundaries, something children seem to remind us of more than adults these days. I am incredibly proud of their initiative, patience, and thoughtfulness. Through them, I am always reminded how powerful small actions can be and how purely children see the world.
