director and producer are reteaming for Out of Luck, a female-driven heist movie based on a first screenplay by best-selling thriller author

The feature will center on a group of defiant women determined to make their own luck on St. Patrick’s Day as they plot revenge on the man who wronged them by pulling off a suspenseful heist of his Irish bars.

Filming will take place in Budapest as a co-production with Hungary’s Scripted Productions ( )

Last weekend Krista and her team shot their film “Nature Entwined.”
The short film focuses on the connection between women and nature - specifically women in Squamish.
The piece will be part of the Sea to Sky Shorts Showcase and will have it’s world premiere at the Whistler Film Festival - in person Dec. 6 and virtually on Dec. 10. LINK IN BIO!

Congratulations to Krista who is 1 of 7 Producers selected to participate in the POWER PITCH talent program on their 20th anniversary! She has been developing Writer/Director ‘s feature film Re:Uniting since June via the WFF Producers Lab and has just entered Phase II.

TODAY WE CELEBRATE LUKE! We are beyond thrilled to tell you that Luke is officially off his meds! Almost 2.5 years after being diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA), he is doing great.

Luke still has lower platelets, but all other blood counts are normal. For now, lower platelets don’t really impact his day to day life. The hope is that Luke continues to improve and doesn’t relapse. You might be curious to know if he will still need a stem cell transplant. Right now, the answer is no. Unless he relapses, there is no need for a stem cell transplant.

Huge thanks goes out to the Vancouver Film/TV community that came out for our fundraiser over two years ago. We raised $5638 in one day and every penny went to his family to help Luke get the care he needed during such a scary time.

Big Love to his Mom & Dad and their entire army of family & friends. We’re all doing a happy dance with you!

On this day two years ago we raised almost $7000 for our friend LUKE! Back in 2018 at just four years old, Luke was diagnosed with severe acquired aplastic anemia which is a rare, life-threatening bone marrow disease.

We’re happy to report that Luke is now six years old, his platelets are holding steady and he should be off his immunosuppressive therapy by September!

Huge thanks to .bernard and everyone who volunteered, donated, attended and contributed to changing the course of Luke & his family’s life.

If you are or know a male who is between the ages of 17-35 please register to be a stem cell donor. We would also encourage you to donate blood in the next month. You could save a life. ❤️
