The exhibition SOS water, by Yayo, starts today at the House of Culture Cote-des-Neiges!

This exhibit features a creative journey around a plastic bottle picked up on the street. Symbolic gesture, both an act of respect for the land and an act of resistance, took the form of a satirical humor drawing, then multiplied into thousands of bottles collected in public spaces, then integrated into an art installation. It all boiled down to hundreds of new drawings and an imaginary story told in one book.

Congratulations to the 19 B.C. book publishers who received support from Creative BC to showcase their work in 30 domestic and international markets!

Through the Magazine Publishers Travel Support Program, B.C. book publishers receive financial support to attend select fairs, conferences, and events where they can promote their titles and pursue new business opportunities, as well as develop marketing materials and/or campaigns.

This initiative helps them expand their reach, secure new business opportunities, and enhance professional development.
