Throwback to some branding favourites from our session with our friends at Dave Masson PREC | Realtor!

Choosing a realtor or real estate team is such a personal decision. You’re not just choosing someone to help you buy or sell a home, you’re choosing someone you’ll build a relationship with and trust throughout a pretty major life decision.

Dave, Austin & Emilie are such a friendly, dynamic team, proudly based right here in Downtown Vancouver. They bring a genuine love for their community and a ton of local knowledge to what they do, so we wanted their branding images to capture that same energy.

We had the best time shooting them in a beautiful local False Creek penthouse, creating a mix of polished portraits and more natural, lifestyle-focused images that feel like them.

One thing I didn’t expect about becoming a mom? I’d actually really enjoy continuing to work. 🤍

Because of the structure of EI and being self-employed, I wasn’t able to take a traditional maternity leave from my business. So instead, I’ve been easing back into work while figuring out this new rhythm of being a mom and an entrepreneur.

I love being a mom, and I also love what I do. I love my business, my clients, my team and the creative work we get to do together. I don’t feel like I have to choose one identity over the other.

I’m still in a partial mat leave season, but somehow, we’ve continued to grow and we’re thriving. A huge part of that is thanks to my incredible team, my support system at home and, I’ll say it, me. I’ve always been a reliable and hard worker.

Motherhood has changed the way I work in some really positive ways. I’m more intentional with my time, better at prioritizing and much more appreciative of the hours I do get to spend working.

So, here are a few things I’ve learned so far as a working mama. 🫶🏻

And I have a feeling this list is only going to keep growing.

Here’s what we do before we arrive at the studio or your business:

✨ Shoot Plan & Detailed Moodboards
An overview of the photos we’re planning to capture, along with visual inspiration to help guide the day.

✨ Reels List
A curated selection of Reels concepts for you to review and approve ahead of time.

✨ Team Briefing
We get our team together on Zoom to walk through the plan, priorities and creative direction so everyone is on the same page.

✨ Client Connection
We connect with you beforehand, too, so we can talk through the plan, make adjustments and make sure the day feels collaborative and productive.

✨ Two Team Members On Site
Our content days include two March Media team members, which means one person can focus on capturing the content while the other helps direct, organize, troubleshoot and keep the day moving.

A successful content day starts with a detailed plan of ex*****on. And if you know us, you know we love a plan. 😉

We love a good micro trend as much as the next person… but your brand doesn't need to become one.

Right now, Instagram is giving us a lot of butter yellow, clean sans serif fonts, minimal layouts and that very specific ✨ cool girl ✨ aesthetic.

But if your brand is already working, you don't need to completely overhaul your visual identity every time a new aesthetic takes over our feeds.

Your colours, typography, photography, tone and visual style should work together to create something that feels distinctly you.

That doesn't mean you can't have fun with trends. We absolutely believe in experimenting and finding ways to make your content feel current.

As long as it's done intentionally.

The goal should always be to build a brand that is distinctive, recognizable and true to YOUR brand.

Mind you, we’re still soaking up the beautiful weather that’s blessed us with a very gentle start to fall here in Vancouver.

Today, we’re sharing a few highlights from a recent branding session with Sabeena Bubber, the powerhouse mortgage professional behind The Divorce Circle.

As a North Vancouver local, Ambleside felt like the perfect backdrop for this session with Sabeena.

Featured Photo Session ✨

Sharing our latest brand photography session with Fraser Valley mortgage broker, Carla Sturm!

For this session, we wanted to create something fresh and bright, incorporating lighter backgrounds, soft florals, and plenty of natural moments to capture the energy Carla brings to her business.

And one of our favourite parts? Sneaking in a few photos with baby Vito! 🤍 Those little personal moments are often some of the most meaningful images from a brand session and a beautiful reminder that there is a real person behind the business.
