May your plates be full of food prepared lovingly.
May you find ways to share your joy and abundance.
May you be surrounded by love and laughter.
May you travel the world but always be home for festivals.

Sorry for being MIA, but we are just living a regular life with family in our hometowns. 🥰 It's been more than 5 months since we left Vancouver and we've spent over 3 months in India. But celebrating Eid with my family has to be the biggest highlight of this trip. 🫶🏻

From scouting the local markets to design the most authentic outfits to coordinating with cousins to plan the most epic get-together. Moms cooking a meal fit for kings and queens. Yash blending in with the Bhopalis. Everyone showering Eidi. Cousins playing cricket. And us exchanging secret gifts. 🎁

But best of all, we did it in person, we hugged, we prayed shoulder to shoulder, we cried happy tears and we kept saying out loud how this was a blessing and how every festival needs to be celebrated this way. 🤩🥰

Everyone asked us “Why Tanzania?!” And we answered “Why not!!!” 😎

In our 30’s we decided to move abroad and see the world slowly and intentionally - one country at a time. At that time I was contemplating about my ‘purpose’ and this gave us the chance to give back by passing on our skills to younger, experience hungry people in lesser privileged countries. It’s been a roller coaster ride but we wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Take this as a sign to grab that opportunity when it presents itself - grab it both hands and run towards it. Because it might change the course of your life. 😍

As we step into 2026, we ask ourselves, “What next?”. We manifest adventure and learning and new experienced and wait for a sign from the universe. 🥰

There are towns you visit… and then there are towns you feel. 🥰 (Details below 👇🏽)

Highlands, North Carolina was one of those rare places that wrapped around us the moment we arrived.
Imagine a tiny mountain town of about 1,200 people, where mornings begin with clouds floating outside your window, winding forest roads, and waterfalls just a short hike away.
