At long last, BLOOM is officially released online 🌱🎞️ We’re delighted to finally share it with you!

Abandoned by her partner, Laurel stumbles through heartbreak and grows a strange connection to a house plant. Shot on 35mm-4 Perf Kodak film, this provocative rumination explores the interconnected mess of humans and nature.

Following a World Premiere at TIFF and multiple festival screenings across the globe, Bloom is now exclusively available to watch on Vimeo 🎥 Link in bio.

Huge congrats to director Kasey Lum for following through on an idea born out of the pandemic and bringing it to life in a beautifully eerie way. As always, BIG love to the incredible team that made this all happen with endless determination and creativity. And, of course, thank you to Jodi Balfour for taking a chance on Bloom. Your brilliant performance is everything.

We’re beyond excited to introduce TIM, the latest from Presents! This project was such an honour to be part of. Sometimes it takes a village and sometimes it takes an incredible ski community. Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible—most of all, Tim Sackbauer, who continues to inspire us.

Tim, navigating life with Down syndrome, carves his own path with courage and heart. With his family by his side—a tight-knit crew with skiing in their DNA—he finds a space for expression, solace, and the freedom to experience life on his own terms.

Director Statement: “Tim’s perspectives on family, skiing, and community are incredibly insightful. I think that the world can learn a lot by the hard work he has done to challenge people’s preconceived notions of others. His tenacity, friendship, and dedication have constantly broken through any barriers put in his way.

Having had the opportunity to meet Tim and work together with him on this film was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I’m excited for the world to get the chance to know him.”

ONE DAY THIS KID, written and directed by and produced by , will be having its world premiere at next month in the Short Cuts Program! 🎞️✨

The inspiration for this project stemmed from the late David Wojnarowicz’s “Untitled (One Day This Kid…)” - a 1991 piece of writing that Alex stumbled upon nearly six years ago. A text that, with such emotional precision, describes the story of a gay boy who grows up in a society that rejects him at all costs.

In a magical co-production between and .film, we’re honoured to have played a small part in bringing this powerful film to life. The heavy lifting was done by the absolute dream team - director Alexander Farah, producer Joaquin Cardoner, and cinematographer Farhad Ghaderi - we’re just lucky to be along for the ride 🤍

One day this kid will feel something stir in his heart and throat and mouth. One day this kid will reach a point where he senses a division that isn’t mathematical. One day this kid will talk.

Film BOLDLY

BOLDLY was created in 2013 by a collective of filmmakers from Vancouver, British Columbia. At the time, it was three producers, a big dream, and several pots of coffee.

Today, our core team has grown to four full-time producers and 70+ crew in various roles on set and in post-production. Our collective of filmmakers has grown together and become a solid team for executing commercial production on demanding concepts and timelines. Their backgrounds range from stop-motion animation to live action narratives and their skillsets are as varied as the stories they tell: they’ve created both French and English commercial content for nationally recognized brands: Campbells Goldfish Crackers and Ferrero Rocher; branded films for Game of War, Vancouver Art Gallery, LONDRË, and Deloitte; and internationally recognized and award-nominated music videos for PUP, Nicky Romero and Marianas Trench; we have screened independent projects at VIFF, TIFF, Berlinale, and Montreal among other film festivals.

We pride ourselves on our ability to operate agile productions: our varied body of work has given us the tools to quickly mobilize crew, art, camera, gear and talent without compromising on quality. We fill every role with versatile, talented professionals, and our curated international roster of directors are making epic new content worthy of global brands.

We love projects with a strong concept. We love collaborating. We love coffee. We love waking up in the morning, to a dawning sunrise, and screaming from the mountain tops how much we love film. We love passionate people. If you love these things, we love you, too.
