Happy holidays! We received the most incredible gift—a hand-drawn, colored pencil portrait from Gerry . It’s so beautifully detailed and lifelike that it looks like a real photo! The level of skill and care that went into creating it is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful for their thoughtfulness. This is something we'll treasure forever. I'm finding a spot to hang it right now!

New Brunswick was snowier than I first expected. Glad we picked Miramichi to watch the eclipse as we had clear skies. We could watch the river from our room and see little patches of ice go by.

🌳Join us as we naively climb the Gloucester Tree in Western Australia. It is 53 meters tall and is known as one of the world's tallest fire lookout trees.

🔹Question - Would you climb this tree? (...Honestly, if you had all the information provided to you before you went, would you still climb it?!)

🌳Think we'd had enough?! Apparently not! We then went to the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree for a climb up to 65 meters tall.
