Exciting News from KOKO Productions:
We are thrilled to announce that Thea Baturin has become the sole owner of KOKO Productions, making us the first fully woman-owned major audio production facility in Canada!
Thea has been an integral part of KOKO since 2002, serving as a partner and Chief Operating Officer. Now, as Owner & CEO, she’s ready to lead our team with a vision that “sees sound differently.” Her leadership comes at a pivotal time as the industry shifts back towards in-person recording and mixing.
At KOKO, we believe in the future of the larger studio model. As Thea puts it: “It’s about creative people coming together in an inspiring and technically advanced space, experiencing the immediate physical feedback of hearing things together, feeling the reactions, and forming the work as something alive.”
With a 6,000 sq ft custom-designed facility, six studios, and Dolby Atmos/5.1 capabilities, we are committed to bringing back the magic of in-person collaboration.
