Granville Island Publishing Granville Island Publishing has been operating in the publishing industry for more than 15 years.

What we have learned is that professionalism, quality workmanship, and full attention to customers needs and objectives is what it takes to create a successful relationship and a viably marketable book. We work hand in hand with our authors throughout the entire publishing process to produce a book with the quality and craftsmanship to sit on a shelf beside any author, in any library or bookstore,

anywhere in the world. We also provide the marketing and distribution support to allow our authors to share their vision with others and receive some financial reward. From the initial Readers Report to a book launch and into the future, we support the development, production, and sale of each book, because an author's success is our success.

Pnina Granirer launched her latest book, "Garden of Words," at the Jewish Book Festival in Vancouver on February 9.

The poems in the book become illustrations for art created long before they were written, enriching the visual with the literary. The five chapters of short poems, some reminiscent of Haiku, deal with thoughts and feelings inspired by the simple reality of living and her wish “to plant a garden of words in my field of colours.”A visual artist for over 60 years, PNINA GRANIRER has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and may be found in numerous private, corporate and public collections. Her memoir Light Within the Shadows was launched at the 2017 JCC Jewish Book Festival.

The talk begins at the 8:50 mark in the video.

According to the RAG:

The permanent collection contains nearly 400 works of art in a variety of media, collected from 1982 to 2020. Most works were donated by artists exhibiting at the Gallery, while others were purchased by the Gallery or donated by members of the community. In the RAG’s early years exhibitions changed bi-weekly and the permanent collection grew rapidly in the 1980s and 1990s.

"The air is fresh

Gloves should come in handy, if not for hand-wringing in a soap opera, which whitewashes the rich antibody politic with bail-outs in an economic income tsunami....
