We'll be keeping the page up just to make sure no one makes a fake one to impersonate us, as we've had problems with hackers on this platform in the past, but all future updates and announcements will now be found on Patreon and the YouTube Community tab. This also means we won't be checking for private messages on this site, so don't worry if we don't respond. It doesn't mean we hate you! You just might have more luck on Twitter.

ANYWAY! SAOA's actually coming along really well! We've got some really promising s**t for the 17 script so far, and despite the density of fight scenes in 16, the editing has been moving along at a really promising pace. Also, y'all been watching Desperate Housewives? I know that's a throwback, but that s**t is LIFE! The Van De Kamps are a fu***ng mess and it's just... *chef's kiss*. I mean, how many sociopaths you gotta raise before you just burn the whole deal to the ground? Not that it's just Bree's fu**in' family. Y'all know Maxine had a SLAVE?! Absolutely wildin'!

The MHAA 2 Bloopies are also finished and they should be going up on Patreon sometime today! We finished up a bunch more recordings for MHAA 3 as well (despite the GODDAMN HEAT), such as Deku and Mina! A rare pair if I've ever seen one. Oh? Just went to ao3 and there's like 700+ stories of them fu**in'. Hell yeah. Get it, you two. OTP right there.

Man I miss Bones. Carrie and I kinda dropped off and have been on a DH kick as of late. We'll go back to it one day, but I swear to god if Angela and Hodgins don't get back together I'm gonna be fu**in' livid. Their break-up just made no goddamn sense! They're perfect for each other! And let's be honest with ourselves, Hodgins is pretty much the perfect man: genius scientist, rich, cute, funny, ripped as hell, conspiracy theorist, has beard! Nuff said! Angela will never do better!

Additionally, we're planning on taking about a week off in August because the Canada/US border is finally gonna open! Meaning our bois can finally come visit, and we wanna give them all the attention they've been STARVED of for the last 16 months! How have they survived without us? No one knows. Probably empty husks of their former selves at this point. Truly ghastly. So we must... affix ourselves to those husks and... fill them with sustenance like some sort of... reverse lampreys... of love. Yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. SPEAKING OF FU**IN' WHICH, YOU KNOW WHO'S IN LOVE?! BOOTH AND BONES! How come everybody can see it but them?! They're so smart yet so dumb! You think some measly Christmas episode Caroline mistletoe shenanigans are enough to sate my FU**IN' BLUE BALLS!

Anywho, that's about all for this month. But not to worry. HSM:TM:TS should be wrapping up this month, so we won't have to keep forcing ourselves to watch that horses**t for much longer. It just really pulled us in in the first season, but now it's just kind of a Sunk Cost Fallacy, you know? Like, at first it was fun in like an ironic way, but then we started to get legitimately invested in all their silly high school drama, but now it's not even, like, good drama. It's just "boy, you guys sure are 16" drama. Like, who the f**k cares that Howie goes to your "rival" school?! You're not the Montagues and the fu**in' Capulets! Get the f**k over it! No one cares about the goddamn Menkies! I may just be a humble 31-year-old YouTube personality, but I say y'all need to cut the s**t and just make out with each other! ESPECIALLY the crazy teacher and the cute science man. Stand with me!

Yeah. So we're gonna level with y'all. Last week was not the most productive. We did our best, but the west coast is on fire and we ain't got AC. Twas rough, fam. Thankfully, it has gotten slightly cooler, and while it's still too hot, it's not as bad as it was, so yay.
Izzy and Carrie are slowly plugging away on editing, mostly working on SFX and line gathering and whatnot. You know. The tedious s**t. Boy howdy, do I love spending all day placing footstep sounds! It's pretty much the best. It's really getting me there.
We've also started blocking off Thursdays again so we can start writing SAOA 17! We're getting so close to the finale, guys! It's crazy! We've usually been combining about 2 episodes for each abridged episode during Alfheim, it's looking like we're gonna combine the last 3 (episode 23-25 in the og) into one big boi to wrap up the season! Gun Gale is in sight, y'all!!! So excite!

Buenos nachos, you cheesy s***s!

Not to immediately go off-topic, but is "the Cheesy S***s" not an excellent name for a band? We're calling dibs on it. It's in writing now. We shall only play cheesy 80s love ballads, and each show will end with me pulling a chain to dump gallons of searing nacho cheese on myself, Flashdance-style. True, the regular skin grafts will be expensive, but great art has always come at a cost!

Speaking of ART, MHAA 2 is done! And has been done! For a while! Thanks, YouTube! In any case, it should be released from Copyright Jail (it's like H***y Jail, only far less fun) any day now. So keep an eye out! In the meantime, the episode is still available on Patreon at the $5+ Tier! And while you're there, Carrie will be finishing the MHAA 2 Bloopies soon, which will go up at the $10+ Tier, along with all our other Bloopies!

Continuing the fellating of MHAA, we're already over halfway done with recording! We're getting real excited hearing all the new classmates record their lines for the first time! ESPECIALLY Brian. Hi, Brian! We know you read these. Get called out, you beautiful, talented, bitch!

In SAOA news, I've been plugging away on a lot of visual edits. Quite a bit more challenging lip-flaps this episode. Lots of mouths that need to be tracked and masked and whatnot. Do you have any idea what a pain in the ass it is the lip-flap someone while they have semi-transparent glowing text periodically flying in front of their mouths? DO YOU?! Yeah. That's what I thought. FWHACK you.

And that's about it! Now, if you'll excuse us, we've got band practice to get to. I gotta tune my guitar and start boiling the cheese. Sure, maybe we don't NEED it for practice, but I'm a perfectionist. Gotta build up my tolerance to having my skin rapidly evaporated by molten dairy. Can you, like, build up calluses on your entire body by doing that? No? It'll just turn me into an oozing human blister? Yeah, that tracks. Thank god our songs are bangin'.

So how y'all doing? What's some exciting s**t happenin' this month? Looking forward to that Super Blood Moon that is absolutely a real thing and not some Contra knock-off for the SouljaBoy (which is totally what he should have called his definitely real game console. Goddamn amateur. ). You should also be looking out for that national holiday, Carrie's Burdei! So convenient that it falls on a Tuesday this year, so we all get a Tuesday off! In honour of this historic day, the Queen will make her annual speech as Justin Trudeau cracks open the ceremonial Sturbs bag and prepares to read from the Kacchako scriptures (while we all vomit in our mouths. Bakugou x Kirishima for LIFE!). Let us all give thanks for the bounty of p**n she has bestowed us with! We wish you all a Merry Carrie Day when it arrives, and bid you all good luck in the mandatory CTR games. Dissenters will be shot on sight.

In other news, MHAA 2 is (basically) finished! Carrie and Izzy are still going over it with a fine-toothed comb, but it's looking like we'll have it all ready to premiere on this Friday's stream! We'll play some more Darkside Detective, then at around 5 pm PST, we'll be showing the full episode! As usual, we're not sure what'll happen with copywrites on the YouTubes, but ALSO as usual, it'll be available on the Patreon Google Drive ($5+ Tier) immediately after the stream for y'all to enjoy :)

As for SAOA 16, we're working on it. Shut up.

Okay, well Izzy's mostly been working on lip-flaps and SFX while we work on getting some actors in to record. COVID's still making it a little difficult for a few people to come in to record safely. Thankfully, we've got them on the schedule, and we're hoping to have that bit wrapped up soon.

Lastly, we'd like to say a big thank you to Castle Point Anime Con for having us as guests! We had a wonderful time with some amazing people! Grace, Morton, and Kerdom will live forever in our hearts. But probably not each others'. They probs forgot about each other the second they got home, those selfish as****es. Spring has sprung! Wait. Has it sprung? When precisely does spring sprung? Has the thing that sing of spring been hung among the sprung? Does we are having a stronk?

Okay, let us reset. Happy Easter, y'all.

We sure hope the Easter Bunny didn't murder you and/or your family after completing his yearly cycle of death and rebirth, rising as an Easter zombie after rejuvenating for three days in his cave in... the North Pole? We haven't been to Sunday school in a while, but we're pretty confident that sounds right. Anyway, make sure you find all the eggs he leaves, lest they hatch and begin the ritual to siphon your life force, thus maintaining his corporeal form for another year. Also, some of the eggs are chocolate, so that's pretty sweet.

In between gorging on chocolate and sacrilicious bunny eggs, we've been pretty hard at work getting the new episodes ready for you peeps. The editing for SAOA 16 is well underway! Izzy's having a lot of fun making monster sounds for... you-know-what, and Carrie's only got one more scene to do music and sound effects for on MHAA 2! Holy s**t! So proud! After that, Izzy just has to come in and tell her it's garbage so she can start the whole thing over again! Should be done as soon as 2027!

Lastly, we goin' to a con! Sort of! It's online! Basically, last year, the nice folks at Castle Point Anime Con invited us down to New Jersey to be guests at their convention around May, but then... yeah... f**k. So this year they've decided to give it another shot, this time as an online con! This'll be the first con of its kind that we've attended, so it should prove to be an awesome experience. Especially since we're going to be PLAYING D&D!!! HELL YEAH!!! HOOK IT TO MY VEINS!!! *ahem* We'll also be hosting a Q&A panel. We'll tweet out some more specific times once we nail them down. So that's where our heads are at one year into a pandemic. How y'all doing? Good? Aw, that's real nice of you to lie to us. Clearly, you've also forgotten how to interact with "the People". Glad we can all be in the same leaky boat together. But also wearing two masks each and sitting six feet apart. If you close your eyes and deny real hard, it's almost like a cruise! WEEEEEEEEE!!!!! *manic sobbing*

But not to worry. We're only mentally broken. Our bodies are still... technically functional, and more than capable of continuing our work. Honestly, it's not that much different. We've all been empty husks of people for years, feasting on the souls of YouTube commenters to forestall our inevitable return to Quor'toth: the hellish nether realm from which we erupted from our sire's pulsating brood sac, and quickly began our grim task of transversing the planes to your world... Ee'Arth...

We've said too much...

SO ANIME PARODIES!!! Things have been slow, but we're gradually widdling our way through the massive list of actors we need to record for the next SAOA. There's, like, armies involved in this one, you guys. It's... kind of a lot. But we've finally been able to schedule time in the booth to record Kirito, which means that Izzy can soon return to the safety and warmth of his editing cacoon. I mean basement. Just a normal hooman basement.

Carrie's been able to finish doing the SFX for a few more scenes in MHAA, and things are really starting to come together! We supes proud of her! There's a montage that we're really about! A fitting metaphor for her journey as an editor. Why it feels like only yesterday when she emerged from her gelatin-encrusted editor pod, slick with the collective knowledge of a thousand forebearers and a yearly subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. My god... she's come so far. *face te****le wipes tears away from seventeen eyes*

You also may have noticed that our streaming schedule for SWE&D got a lil squiffy the last couple weeks. Our good good boi Coffinjockey had some out-of-town bidness to attend to, so instead, we did a stream sponsored by RAID SHADOW LEGENDS. Twas a pretty good time. We doin' it! We're 2021ing! It's already February! What even IS time?! What the actual f**k?!

Don't got a ton to report on. Mostly making incremental progress on both shows. We've started recording with those ridiculously talented peeps for SAOA, and we've been able to record a large chunk of the main cast a lot faster than we expected! We're sorry that we keep making these super talented people say the awful awful things that come out of our brains, but we're also NOT sorry in any way, shape, or atomic state of matter. Lookin' at you, liquid. At this rate, we should be able to start editing real soon!

On the MHAA front, we're very much in the tweaky stage. Lots and lots of "move this two frames. Then back one. Actually, move it forward three. You know what? Just put it back where it was. Perfect." You know. Hell. Actual Hell.

In other exciting news, Carrie's been lending her vast experience as a fe-mall-eh to those bois over at the Schmuck Squad for that ho******ic volleyball thing they do. According to them bois, she's making some pretty stellar and perhaps oily contributions to the script. According to Carrie, she suggested a subplot where the volleyball and the net come to life when nobody's lookin' Toy Story-style and have a secret, torrid love affair. So who's to say. History will judge her accordingly. Watch Haikyuu Abridged.

Lastly, our fu***ng hearts got ripped out of our goddamn chests last SWE&D! Those insane, wonderful artists in our community did a thing! Did SEVERAL things! We genuinely don't have the words for how grateful we are and how amazing they are. THAT'S RIGHT! WE'RE CALLIN' YOU OUT, TANIS, KING HUBRIS, ANIME CHICK, KREBOZZI, AND GRIDDLER! You're all DISGUSTINGLY talented and warm our hearts! The hearts that you RIPPED OUT and now rest in jars upon your fu***ng credenza! Enjoy your trophies, you animals!!!

We did it. We survived. Proud of you. Proud of us. As a collective. As a hivemind. You have been assimilated. We are the Borg. We doin' it, y'all.

So anywho! We got some good news to start off the new year. We finished the first draft of the script for SAOA 16! We worked through Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve to do it, but we got it done right under the wire! It is... 36 pages... Oh god, why?! Gonna maybe see if we can trim that a bit. Maybe get it down to a lean 35? Yeah, that seems reasonable.

We're honestly really excited to work on this one. It's got some STUFF. Let's just say there are some characters/character moments we're quite proud of that we REALLY shouldn't be proud of. XD

On the MHAA front, we finally got the last of the art assets that we needed to complete the visuals! Now Carrie just needs to finish the very simple task of adding music and sound effects and levelling the volume of hundreds of audio clips and making sure the timing isn't ruined by doing any of those things. Shouldn't take more than an afternoon really. Oh, what's that? Oh, she's stabbing me now. Because of all the things I just said. Well, I will not apologize for speaking my truth, Carrie. The people must know of your laziness. What's that? A second knife? Well, that changes things now doesn't it, you hardworking hero. You POWERHOUSE of industry. May I now remove these knives from my kidneys? No? That's fair.

Finally, we're very pleased to announce that SWE&D is coming back this Friday! Y'all ready for more boat shenanigans?! Well too bad! You're gettin' 'em anyway! Will Val and Drake ever smooch? Will Oromak smooch the captain? Will the captain smooch Oromak? Will everybody smooch everybody else in just a big ol' boat o**y? I, Kasim, say yes. Definitely. The spirits have seen it. In the stars. Guaranteed. The filth these spirits have seen is... unimaginable...

Joyeux Noël, ya ho ho hos!

We got a special Crimbo present for y'all! It's the same present we get you every month! The update! So it's like regular Crimas, but like there's twelve of 'em! I guess it's really more like Hannukah when we say it like that. But, like, if Hannukah were spread out across the whole year instead of just December. Wouldn't really be a holiday if that were the case, we suppose. Just sort of a thing that happens. Anyway, happy Crimbannukah is what we're sayin'.
Anyway, we been doin' our best to keep on the sched, but we've had one or two hiccups. Once everything was laid out in editing, we realized a few things about MHAA that we felt we needed to change in order to make it the best it can be. It was a very tough call, but we eventually decided that the best thing to do was to recast one of the main characters. Luckily, we were able to get those lines re-recorded with the new actor very quickly, and everything is already back on track. NOBODY PANIC! IT'S NOT TAKA! YOU THINK WE'D LET THAT SWEET CUPCAKE GO?! THAT DELICIOUS CINNAMON ROLL?! THAT FROSTED SUGAR COOKIE?! GOD HIS VR CHARACTER IS SO HOT!

What were we talking about? Oh, right. Work.

So SAOA's scripting has been going real well! In the interest of speeding that up, we decided to add an extra scripting day. Hoping to get this fat bitch done by the end of the year. It's a chonker. But like... but like a funny chonker. You know, like Cinderblock? Wonder how they're doing? Think they're Thinderblock yet? We hope not. It'd really ruin this analogy.

Speaking of chonkers! We finally made our way through all the 1550+ auditions for MHAA and made or selections! If you made the cut, we'll be notifying you through email soon! We're so sorry, Brian. We're so so sorry.

Lastly, like things do around December, scheduling for our streams is gonna get a bit wonky. This Friday, the 11th, it's gonna be your regularly scheduled game of SWE&D. The following week would normally be a game stream, but since we're going to be taking the 25th and January 1st off, we'll instead be bringing y'all more SWE&D. Woo! Then we'll be back on the 8th with, you guessed it, YET ADDITIONAL SWE&D! GOD YES JUST HOOK IT TO MY VEINS!
We think that's absolutely everything! Good luck wrapping up this complete dumpster fire of a year. Holy f**k it cannot possibly end fast enough!

Real talk, this year has obviously been really tough for everybody, and we can't thank you guys enough for your continued support. It means the world to us that, even during a goshdang apocalypse, y'all still want your silly internet videos. We hope we've at least been able to make you smile during this, the worst year ever. At least in our lifetime. If you're anything like us, you might not be able to go see your families for the holidays this year, and that sucks. All we can do is stay home and hope that 2021 is just the teensiest bit better than this endless abyss of pain and misery. Let's take a moment to look back on all the good that 2020 has given us:

HAPPY HALLOWE... aw f**k! We missed it?! But I was gonna be a sexy nurse! What do you mean Fenris beat me to it?! What do you mean she got eaten by a zombie that was also a robot?! The f**k kind of Halloween did we miss?!

Well whatever, Hope you all had a good spoopy time (while responsibly staying in your homes eating candy in the dark. I know that's what we did. Don't judge us. It was a good time. You don't know. Suck my dick.), because instead of trick-or-treating, we were going through a fraction of the 1500+ AUDITIONS THAT Y'ALL SENT US. Y'ALL BROKE GOOGLE! THEY WON'T LET US GET EMAILS ANYMORE! WE'VE BEEN CUT OFF! WE HONESTLY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT COULD HAPPEN!!! But seriously, thank you to all you talented motherf**kers for submitting so many wonderful auditions. It's going to be incredibly hard to narrow it down. For some additional clarity, we won't be contacting anyone unless we need to do a callback or you got the part. Also, as with the previous auditions, we won't be announcing who got what part until the episode airs.

ON TO MHAA!!! Episode 3's script is DONE! We're supes proud of it. We're also deeply ashamed of it. It's gonna be a good time. MHAA 2 editing is also going quite well. Carrie and Spanker are working hard on the visuals, and she's hoping to start on the SFX and music this month.

On the SAOA front, we've started scripting episode 16! It's been a little slow going making our way through certain chunks of the episode, but we're slowly finding our inspiration and making our way through. We've written some real meaningful s**t. And some really dumb s**t. Both in like the first two minutes. Look forward to it ;)

Finally, if you've been missing SWE&D these last few weeks as much as we have, you'll be happy to know that our next campaign is right around the corner! That ship will set sail (hopefully) on Friday, November 13th. That's right! Our maiden voyage is starting on a Friday the 13th! We are totally not cursing ourselves! Also, in case you couldn't tell from all this sick ship lingo, we're pretty sure we're gonna be pirates. All Spanker has told us is that it's a 3rd-party module called "Call from the Deep" and we've all decided that we're pirates. Spanker seems resistant to the idea, but f**k him! We pirates! We don't follow no rules! We pillage and plunder and we're really bad eggs and such! Also, we've kind of designed our characters with pirates in mind, so it's gonna be real awkward if we end up spending 90% in a desert or some s**t. DON'T F**K US ON THIS ONE, SPANKY-KUN!!!

Pretty sure that's everything for this month. Y'all try to keep the spoopiness goin' this month, Don't let 'em force that jingle bell s**t on ya early! DECEMBER 1ST, GODDAMNIT! THEN YOU CAN HAVE YOUR FU**IN' EGGNOG LATTES! I WANNA KEEP THE PUMPKINS A LITTLE LONGER! I DON'T CARE THAT THEY'RE STARTING TO SMELL! THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!!!
