Georgia Street Media recently had the honour of creating a video for the "18th Annual Imagine… Gala" celebrating the work of PALS and PASS. We’ve teamed up with the organization for a number of years and have so much respect for the work they do.
PALS Autism Society is a school for children and teens with autism, while PASS supports autistic adults and their families with programs and housing.
We're grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our clients—pitching new ideas and finding ways to make each year’s video distinct—to reveal the depth of these programs.
This year, instead of interviews or testimonials, we set out to capture what a day *feels* like from the perspective of someone in these programs.
In collaboration with Executive Director Andrea Kasunic, we created Sounds of PALS / PASS—a sensory-driven story blending high-energy and quiet moments.
Jordan and camera assistant/boom op Conor spent two days—one with each program—documenting intimate, everyday experiences in a natural, unobtrusive way.
This year’s gala was a huge success, raising a record-breaking $715,000!
It was an honour to work with the organization and play a small role in supporting the work that PALS and PASS do every day.
