Imagine being this close to a gentle giant 🐘✨ Meet Losu — we got to spend a morning with her during our stay at Chai Lai Orchid -Chiang Mai 🌿🧡, photographed by the incredibly talented Pern Photography 📸 We learned more about elephants in one morning than we expected to in our whole trip 🐘💭

These are the moments we’re really here for 🙏 — the ones we hope Sky and Cloud carry with them 👧🧒💛 long after they’ve forgotten the flight delays and jet lag ✈️

📣 NEW VLOG! We’ve always said we like to mix a little of everything into our travels — well, this one tested us in the best way. 🐘

We spent a couple of nights at an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai and it was nothing like we imagined. Turns out a city family can survive rural life in Thailand… barely. 😅

And getting up close with the elephants? Just the cherry on top.

📣 NEW VLOG! We landed in Chiang Mai 🛬 expecting “more Thailand.” What we got felt like a whole different world 🌿✨

The locals at Tha Phae Gate 🐦 talked us into the classic pigeon photo (we put up zero resistance 🙃). Then at the farm cafe 🐷, a piglet decided Skylar was its new mama — and honestly, we don’t blame it 🥹. Somewhere between the tuktuk ride 🛺 and our temple stop 🛕, Max and I looked at each other like — okay, this one’s different 👀.

And then Nimman happened 🍜. Slow mornings ☕, good food, everyone a little more relaxed than the day before.

A few days in, and Chiang Mai had already stolen our hearts 💛

📣 NEW VLOG! 🦖🌙 We went to Asiatique for the boat ride and the night market vibes — the usual stuff. What we did NOT expect was to walk our kids straight into a full Jurassic World.

It turns out Bangkok is one of the unique places where you can experience the Jurassic World films and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity being big fans of the franchise 🦕 Did we think it was going to be too scary for Sky and Cloud? TBH yes! But with a bit of guidance, they ultimately enjoyed the experience✨ Just walking out with 1000 questions for Mom and Dad 😄

12 months. 12 tiny cakes. 12 times the whole family crammed into frame to yell “HAPPY X MONTHS BABY CLOUD! 🎂”. They say watching your kids grow is the best part of life — and somehow watching it back, month by month, hits even harder than living it the first time. 🥹

Cloud’s reactions are the real character arc here. Month 1: absolutely nothing, a tiny confused potato who has no idea why the big people are yelling at him. Somewhere around month 4 he starts side-eyeing the candle like it owes him money. And by month 5? Full flinch. 😂

We kept a few of the bloopers in on purpose — because the real footage was never going to be perfectly wiped icing and soft lighting, it was going to be chaos and love.

📣 NEW VLOG! 15,000 stalls. 200,000 people. 35°C heat. And two parents who clearly didn’t think this through... 🥵🛒

We decided to tackle Bangkok’s legendary Chatuchak Weekend Market with a toddler, a baby, and a stroller. 🫣

If you’ve ever wanted to watch two parents slowly melt in the Thailand heat while navigating tight shopping aisles, our new video dropping this Sunday! We’re keeping it 100% real about what family travel actually looks like—the sweat, the stroller struggles, and the ultimate survival tips you need to know before you go.

But the chaos didn’t stop at the market! This week we also:
✨ Traded our sweaty market clothes for stunning traditional Thai outfits (thanks to a surprise hotel photoshoot! 📸)
🏰 Headed over to the fairytale-inspired Chocolate Ville... until a classic, intense Bangkok rainstorm absolutely crashed our plans. 🌧️🤦‍♂️

It was a week of huge highs, sweaty lows, and memories we’ll be laughing about for years.

This Easter with our little ones is one we’ll never forget. 🐣 

Seeing Skylar’s face light up mid-egg hunt and watching Cloud take it all in — it stopped us. Not in a sad way, just in that quiet “we get to do this” kind of way.

We’re not just filming for the content. We’re building something for them. A library of moments they’ll come back to someday and know — they were so loved, and every Easter, we showed up for them completely.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. 🥚🐰
