Reality check: Can we keep making vlogs? 🎥🤔

This question has been on our minds for quite a while now—ever since Skylar came into our lives a couple of years ago 👶💛. And if you’ve been with us since before then, you’ve probably noticed a little dip in how much content we’ve been putting out 📉.

Back when it was just the two of us, we had the freedom to travel without limits ✈️🌍 and take our time capturing every moment 🎬. But now, with two little ones in tow 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, time feels a whole lot more precious ⏳.

We still love going on adventures 🗺️ and sharing them with you. But if we had to choose where our time goes, it’s a pretty easy pick—we’ll always choose Sky and Cloud 💕. And to be totally honest, YouTube hasn’t exactly been a money-maker for us 💸. We’re not doing this for income—we’re doing it for love. Love for storytelling, love for memories, and love for family 💖.

What really keeps us going? Seeing Sky’s face light up when she watches herself on screen 🥹📺. She may not remember these moments, but one day she’ll have them all to look back on—and we want the same for Cloud too 🌤️👶.

The plan 📝

To make vlogging more manageable, we’re planning to scale back a little on production. The next videos might be shorter and more raw 🎞️—but still full of heart, honesty, and adventure 💬✨. And hopefully, this will help us share more consistently too 📆✅.

If things change—if we find more time or energy—we’ll definitely consider ramping it up again 🔁. But for now, we hope you’ll keep watching, supporting, and coming along with us... wherever this journey takes us 🚗🌴.

We’re beyond excited to share that the newest member of our family has arrived! 👶✨💙

It’s been a wild week, to say the least 😅. We knew the time was near, but nothing could’ve prepared us for how quickly things would unfold. One moment we were strolling through IKEA 🛒🛋️ picking out furniture for the house—and the next, we were rushing to the hospital! 🏥🚗💨

We’ll be sharing the full story in our vlog soon 🎥📖, but for now, we’re just so happy and thankful that our little boy arrived safe and healthy 🙏👶💫. Max is already on the road to recovery after a smooth delivery 💪💐. And Skylar? She’s over the moon 🌙! She’s officially an “Ate” now 👧💖 and couldn’t stop beaming with excitement when she met the baby 🥹🫶.

A little late to post, but that doesn’t take away from the amazing time we had at Taves Family Farms over Easter weekend! 🐣

Skylar joined her second Easter Egg Hunt 🥚 and had a blast bouncing around with Nat 🚀. We couldn’t stop laughing when we saw the photos of their priceless reactions while jumping! 😂

We were also so proud to see Skylar recognize the colors of the eggs as she picked them from the orchard! 🫶🏼

It’s been a wild month for us — we bought a house and moved in! 🏡✨ We’re haven’t fully unpack… mostly because we don’t have much furniture or storage yet. 😅 But wow, what a month it’s been.

It still feels surreal waking up somewhere new every day. Instead of drivers competing to see who can honk the longest, we now wake up to the sound of birds chirping. 🌿 It feels so good here, sometimes it’s hard to believe this is real life.

Of course, we’re loving the extra space — there’s so much room to grow, decorate, and just breathe. It comes with its challenges though… turns out when your place is three times bigger, it also means three times more to clean. 😆 But hey, we’ll happily take that trade-off.

We’re definitely in the honeymoon phase with the new house. I’m sure there’ll be more things we’ll fall in love with — and a few things to grumble about too. But we’re here. We own a home. And this is the place where we’ll raise our family. 🥹

Speaking of which… baby #2 is just around the corner. How did that happen so fast? 👶❤️

We had an unusual celebration for Max’s Birthday this year🎂 The past few birthdays, we always make sure that we do what we love, Travel ✈️ Last year we celebrated her birthday in Boracay, soaking in Tropical island vibes and delicious food🦞

Not quite the same this year because we’re no longer allowed to travel this late in the pregnancy🤰 but we still made sure it was memorable🥳 We had a few family over and bought some Jollibee and .ca 🎂

Why is Skylar blowing the cake and not Max? Because according to Skylar its her birthday😂 So we said Max will just have a “special day” to keep the term “birthday” for Sky😄 Oh and Sky also let her mom have some cake🎂
