Had a blast in Siegen with JACK WOLFSKIN — Sharing thru-hiking with communities across Germany has been such a highlight of collaborating on the Wolf Trail this year. Thru-hiking has changed my life in so many wonderful ways and it’s an absolute joy to see other people catch the bug and begin plotting their next big adventure.

Shoutout to Anna Heupel 🌞 Wandern & Outdoor and the whole .eu team for putting together a beautiful weekend of trails, live music, fireside chats, and cozy camping 🏕️

Stage 2 of walking across Germany along the Wolf Trail is complete.
We ended the stage in Hamburg with new friends we made at the event 3 weeks earlier in Rügen, the perfect bookend to a long section of tiresome walking.
We were welcomed with open arms, borrowed clothes, and shared meals. We caught up on rest, the kind of chores that require high-speed internet, and phone calls back home.
Hospitality on trail is not uncommon but and took it to another level. So grateful for a fun-filled weekend.
Next step is event number 3 in Siegen. See you there xox.

The next episode with my dad on the Camino del Norte!

We’re finding a good rhythm on this pilgrimage now! A little rain won’t stop us from getting to Santiago de Compostela.

Spent a lovely weekend with the team at the second event for the .eu I met so many wonderful new people, caught up with some old friends, put a few more kilometres on my feet, and got to share my love of thru-hiking. From here on out I’ll be on the Wolf Trail for the summer, exploring Germany and making my way down to Italy.
