Patreon is Getting it Right

I have complained plenty about the ongoing battle creators face on platforms that do not really have our best interests at heart. From click bait and rage bait titles to endlessly regurgitating our own content just to stay on the algorithm’s good side, and now with AI videos that nobody asked for, with no real way to turn them off, it is exhausting.

I am not blameless either. I have rehashed old content hoping to find more viewers, and I have spread myself across too many platforms that never quite seem to value creators the way they should.

But Patreon seems to get it. They have been putting in real effort to make their platform a place where creators can actually be discovered again. They have always been about supporting creators, but lately they have really started fighting the good fight, pushing back against the flood of shallow content that dominates so much of social media.

A Leather Shoulder Armor Pattern for SCA rattan combat, costume, or cosplay. It comes with Viking Serpent Knotwork as well as some simple additional knotwork that you can carve onto the leather if that's something you'd like to do. Or you can take some of my other art like I've done here and use that, or use your own of course.

I rimmed this horn in Bronze for a friend of mine, taking the Jagerhorn to the next level of epicness. Etching has easily become one of my favorite additions to my box of skills. It's actually quite easy and there is a link down below for my tutorial video, as well as one for this specific build.
