When Thunder laser contacted me wanting to partner up to help spread their brand and at the same time help my business it was exactly what I was looking for in a new brand deal

If you've been around my socials a while you know that I have in recent Years Gone laser crazy but as I try and pull myself back towards more fun build videos and leathercraft content I still want to have a great laser to help my business.

When they asked me which laser I was interested in the Thunder Bolt 32 certainly leapt out at me and if I'm being totally honest I didn't really think they would say yes to it it's one of their higher end lasers but they were sold on the idea instantly.

I think though I knew it would be big I underestimated just how big and tomorrow I'm going to have to figure out which wall I'm knocking down in order to put it where I want it since I've been pretty good at utilizing all the space in my studio so far so magically coming up with more space is an interesting proposition.

I can’t say enough about this pattern. The plans were very detailed and easy to follow. If you get stuck just watch the YouTube video as it is quite helpful.
The pattern comes with the knot work design as well, though I went a different direction. I’m fairly seasoned in leatherworking but this is a pretty good project for a person of moderate skill or even a beginner with the help of the plans and video. Been a fan of the channel for a few years now and I can’t say enough good things about Magnus and the work he does.

5/5 would definitely recommend

I had recently purchased a fun pebble grain pull up side & was anxious to find a fun project to use it with. As soon as I ran across Magnus’ creative satchel pattern I knew it was an instant winner. Having only started my leather crafting in April of this year I was excited at the amount of saddle stitching practice this satchel would provide.
To date I have yet to work with a pattern or design from Magnus that isn’t user friendly, and that isn’t even mentioning the support available through the Patreon community or his YouTube presence.
With my first step into bag making I opted to tool the Yggdrasil artwork from the Shoulder Spaulder pattern (if you haven’t checked out the Dark Horse armor patterns yet, you absolutely should!).

Overall I am excited for my end result and more importantly for the shared creativity of this creator & his community as I practice my craft. I will be sporting my first bag, and it’s, character with pride.

A Leather Shoulder Armor Pattern for SCA rattan combat, costume, or cosplay. It comes with Viking Serpent Knotwork as well as some simple additional knotwork that you can carve onto the leather if that's something you'd like to do. Or you can take some of my other art like I've done here and use that, or use your own of course.

I rimmed this horn in Bronze for a friend of mine, taking the Jagerhorn to the next level of epicness. Etching has easily become one of my favorite additions to my box of skills. It's actually quite easy and there is a link down below for my tutorial video, as well as one for this specific build.
