🔥 Are Your Phone Habits Putting You at Risk?
From pockets to pillows, small choices—like where you keep your phone—can make a big difference for your health.

🚫 Don’t carry your phone in your pocket — it keeps unnecessary radiation close to your body.

📞 Limit the time you hold your phone to your ear — use speakerphone or earbuds when possible.

🛏️ Avoid sleeping with your phone beside you — keep it off the nightstand or under the pillow.

Those warnings are precautionary, not definitive evidence of harm. They come from a combination of scientific studies, regulatory guidelines and public health messaging.

Health Canada provide precautionary advice about exposure to nonionizing radiation from phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi routers. Bluetooth and other tech-driven devices.

👣 Step forward, mag-kaisa tayo.

✅ The motion for building of a Filipino Community and Cultural Centre has been approved, Dec 10, 2025, by the Vancouver City Council.
💛Thank you Mayor Ken Sim and the ABC councilors.
📜 The motion does not finalize the project but directs staff to fast-track re-zoning and development review. The City staff will help to secure a temporary cultural space until the permanent facility is complete.
👉Thank you, MLA Mable Elmore and the Filipino Legacy Society for spearheading the proposal to the Vancouver City Council.

😇 A moment to give back to our alma mater.

🌿 Maridel and I joined 250 Ateneo alumni and friends in BC to support a fundraising event of the AAABC for the benefit of a group of university-level scholars across different units of the Philippine Ateneo Educational System.

🌈 It was also a joyful opportunity to reunite with friends and to make new friends.

🌟 "Ad Majorem Del Gloriam"

💚 Kudos to Pres. Gigi-Grey Ricarse (AdDU)for leading the event and to the tireless volunteer work of the event-organizing team.

🫶👏 Big congratulations for the successful fundraising.

📱You are using a mobile phone so you need a strong cellular signal for fast communication.
📡 The installation of 5G cell towers in the neighborhood make for strong and rapid connections.
🌐 The further you are from the towers, the slower and weaker the signal, making connections more difficult.

⚛️ Now those same powerful cell towers emit a byproduct called electromagnetic field that contains waves of nonionizing radiation.

🍁 Health Canada protects the public's health by requiring that the cell towers' byproduct of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) is well 🩺 below the safe density limits.

📌 EMR is said to be safe.
⚠️ How comfortable are you to be standing or sitting in a space that is covered by the electromagnetic field and thus 🧬exposing your body to the accompanying nonionizing radiation?

⌛️ I am in my mid-70’s and very happy to be living each day. Aging has its way of slowing us down: walking shorter distances, keeping our body balance, decreasing visual accuracy. And yet, I am learning that such challenges can be proactively managed by applying ancient wisdom.

🛡 Let me share with you how online mentors are helping me appreciate ancestral healing wisdom, and natural practices that really work. Our body possesses an innate intelligence, a built-in system designed to heal, repair, and rejuvenate itself.

⚖️ My past role as an academician taught me to seek the congruence of teachings from different sources and discern the intersections of common knowledge and consider these as containing a likely grain of truth.

🧬 I am in agreement that our body is empowered to heal from the inside out, addressing the root causes of system imbalances, by providing ourselves natural, simple nutritional supports from the food that we eat.

🔥 True healing does not come only from external interventions, but from supporting the inherent wisdom that the body already possesses from the moment we are born.

Let me share what I have come to know from the video cited here.

🌿 Five simple seeds: Fenugreek, Coriander, Cumin, Carum, and Fennel. Each of them a key that unlocks the natural healing abilities of your body that were dormant waiting for this moment.

✅ Fenugreek, balancing your blood sugar and hormones, protecting you from diabetes and metabolic diseases that destroy organs.

✅ Coriander purifying your kidneys and blood. Eliminating toxins that cause diseases and premature aging that make you look 20 years older.

✅ Cumin igniting your metabolism, strengthening your immune system, and sharpening your mind in ways you thought you had lost forever.

✅ Carum providing immediate relief from pain and digestive discomfort while warming your vital internal fire.

✅ Fennel, harmonizing everything, balancing hormones, soothing digestion, and bringing peace to your entire system from the inside out.

Together, they create a complete natural healing system that addresses virtually every aspect of your health without dangerous side effects, without chemical dependence, and without destroying your liver and kidneys, as medications do.

💚 Two of my friends (both more than 60 years old) suffered fractured bones after falling: one had two broken ribs and the other had a broken clavicle. They are getting prescriptions to facilitate the healing.

🧬 We recommend to add a person-initiated self-healing. The body has the power and the capacity to regenerate, revitalize and heal itself when given the proper food nutrients intakes.

🥗 Essential Nutrients for Bone Healing
After a fracture, the body initiates a complex repair process that relies heavily on nutrition:
• Protein: Vital for rebuilding bone matrix and supporting immune function. Sources: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, tofu, nuts.
• Calcium: A key mineral in bone formation. Sources: milk, cheese, yogurt, leafy greens, fortified plant milks.
• Vitamin D: Enhances calcium absorption. Sources: sunlight, fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), egg yolks, fortified foods.
• Zinc: Supports tissue repair and immune function. Sources: pumpkin seeds, beef, lentils, cashews.
• Iron: Helps oxygenate healing tissues and supports collagen synthesis. Sources: red meat, spinach, lentils, fortified cereals.
• Vitamin C: Crucial for collagen production. Sources: citrus fruits, bell peppers, strawberries.
• Magnesium and Phosphorus: Assist in bone mineralization. Sources: whole grains, nuts, seeds, fish.
🧬 How Their Cells Rebuild Bone
Bone healing involves three overlapping phases:
1. Inflammation Phase:
• Blood clots form at the fracture site.
• Immune cells clear debris and signal repair.
2. Repair Phase:
• Fibroblasts produce collagen to form a soft callus.
• Osteoblasts (bone-building cells) lay down new bone matrix.
3. Remodeling Phase:
• The soft callus is replaced by hard bone.
• Osteoclasts help reshape the bone to its original structure.

An excerpt from a video from the Dr. Binocs Show is shared to highlight the importance of having the right food that would stimulate fuel repair cells to heal the bone fracture.

🌟 A Moment of Quiet Kindness 🌟
This morning, a senior gentleman stepped onto the bus holding two cups of coffee. He quietly took a seat a few rows away. Moments later, he stood, asked the driver to pause, and stepped off—to check on a woman kneeling on the sidewalk beside her luggage.
He returned shortly after. Curious, I asked what prompted him.
“She looked like she might need help,” he said gently.
She had declined, saying she was okay.
But that simple gesture—his instinct to care—lit something in me. I felt it ripple through the bus like a warm current. His presence carried a quiet, radiant energy that reminded me how powerful small acts of compassion can be.
To the kind stranger with the coffee and the open heart:
Thank you. You made the world feel softer today. ☀️

In the olden days, when one is known to have sardines for breakfast, then the family is poor.
Society just did not know then the nutrient-rich value of this low-priced food.

🐟✨ Tiny fish, mighty benefits.
Canned sardines in olive oil are a wellness win—loaded with omega-3s, calcium, and clean protein.
They nourish your heart, brain, and bones while honoring ancestral wisdom and sustainable living.

Here’s the reason you will love eating sardines:

🐟 Core Nutritional Benefits
• Rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Sardines are loaded with EPA and DHA, which support heart health, reduce inflammation, and improve brain function.
• Excellent Source of Protein
A single can provides around 20–25 grams of protein, supporting muscle repair, immune function, and satiety.
• High in Calcium and Vitamin D
Because sardines are canned with their bones, they offer up to 30% of your daily calcium needs and a solid dose of vitamin D, crucial for bone health.
• Packed with B Vitamins
Especially B12, which supports energy metabolism and neurological function. One serving can exceed 100% of your daily B12 requirement.
• Iron and Selenium
Sardines provide iron for oxygen transport and selenium for antioxidant defense, both vital for cellular health.
🫒 Olive Oil Adds Extra Benefits
• Monounsaturated Fats
Olive oil contributes heart-protective fats that help regulate cholesterol and reduce oxidative stress.
• Enhanced Nutrient Absorption
Fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, and K are better absorbed when consumed with healthy fats like olive oil.

🌿 The food we eat and the things we do give us a vibrant health and well-being.
🎶 I will look for a group like this in my neighborhood.
🌻 The joy of dancing with a group brings positivity to our minds which in turn activate neurotransmitters in our body to feel good.
