"I needed to courageously purge and release to make space for what was calling me forward!"

5 years ago...before I moved out of the city...on a grand adventure of re-wilding myself and taking a crazy and scary leap towards what I wanted!

I started a practice for
decluttering and downsizing...

I knew where I was going...
and everything could not come with me.
In other words
I needed to purge and release
to make space for what was calling me forward!

Here are two thins I did:

> When I bought something I had to go home and giveaway/sell/recycle 2 things...I kept a bag or box by mt door! and I knew that...so when I bought something I had to really want or need it!

> I also went through all my things like a warrior!
I asked myself do I need/want this for car camping?
do I want this in my future?
will this serve me in the rural setting of my dreams?
does this bring me joy?

For some people...they are wanting to declutter there living spaces...this will help them feel less overwhelm and more clarity and more freedom.

For others...they have done this already but they need help organizing their online screens and spaces...purging, focusing, organizing so everything is working with them and for them....and their focus is clear.

I needed to do both!!

My facebook and instagram feeds are a curated work of art...silver and gold streaming from areas that I want to grow in, people I want to learn from and things that bring me joy!!

Have you ever experienced a super boring or
weaponized reading of a Biblical scripture verse?

Have you ever experienced a delightful sparklinness of wonderment in your soul reading or hearing someone read a Bible scripture verse?

Hmmm...I find it all very curious....
I myself have experienced all three.

Is anyone else here as curious about Biblical linguistics and ancient history like me...I find it so fascinating learning about Hebrew, Judaism, Aramaic, the every day people and wealthy culture of the times and events that were happening then too! the reason I find it interesting is because it brings things to LIFE!

*Something you may not know about me

I studied Applied Linguistics in university (a Christ focused university) and I was on the path to be a Bible translator/Language surveyor overseas and... ..I took an Ancient History class in high school which was one of my favourite courses (also because there was a skinhead free thinking anarchist with lawyer parents who sat beside me that class and I always wanted to know what he was saying but didn't quite get it (yet) BLESS HIM! and ...I studied an entire semester of Ancient Greek in uni but unfortunately that course was not taught in a way that was helpful for anything in my opinion and I don't remember one thing...but I still have the helpful research books from that course! And I think it helps me realize I would rather study Hebrew and Aramaic first!
ok... onwards...

To be honest it's been very difficult for me to just sit and read the Bible in paper form the past few years.
there are various translations...King James being my least favourite. and there is also some religious trauma I guess...from having verses used as a weapons...not all too me exactly but to those around me...first and secondary (religious) trauma?

There have also been people from time to time that just post or spout off verse after verse like wall paper or machine gun bullets and I just can't.... oh wow it's make me a bit angry thinking about it!! it's a bizarre form of abuse.
and one I feel many are healing from...

as LIFE and CURIOSITY are sparked again in our western culture towards what the Bible/Jesus/Holy Spirit is actually saying/sharing...that makes me excited and curious to dive in again!

And I have learned...
I need a story, the relevance to the person sharing it...
I need it to not be weaponized for Heaven's sake!!
I need the history behind the verse....
I want to know about the ancient language background...
and I want to the person sharing it to be sharing from a place of LOVE.

the Bible is ALIVE...
the words are onion layers and keys....
insights into other realms and into our lives...
it's actually SUPER SUPER interesting and WOWza!!

When you actually get a verse...receive it...it gets into your heart...you receive a revelation about it...it's sparkling tingling perhaps overwhelm of love crying...like....wow!
Mmmmmm. yum.

But it's been made to se FREAKING BORING
in so many instances... Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Ok....this is me pondering "out loud" in writiing...
Cause wow. I think there are others who feel the same...

It's also been on my mind for quite a while what it might look like to facilitate a ... oh gosh...

even the name makes me scared to say...

you know how many terrible meetings I've been too...

Ok...I'll say it... A Bible Study.
I said it there.

I would like to facilitate....
take turns with someone or a group of people...
sharing insights and questions about various Bible stories and passages...this can be with people super fresh to learning about Jesus and the Bible...and those who have been doing it for a long time.

Whoever feels curious and wants to discover more together and aligns with me facilitating the space for it.

I'd like to do one in person...but open to online as well.

Tomorrow is JUNE!!!! I'm so excited!!!!
It's my birthday month and it also means more sun and beach times!!!!

It also means on the 2nd Thursday we get to meet together online again and have a time of Gratitude and tuning in together to Holy Spirit!!
WHAT does this look like?

in the first part after greetings, I say a prayer over our time together, then we have 10 or so minutes of quiet time while we each journal in our journals about what we are grateful for.

Next we share 1-2 of these gratitudes out loud with each other.

Next I explain ways we can tune in and hear/see/feel from Holy Spirit and give examples. Then we jump in and practice tuning in together...this is a quiet time of 12 mins or so.

Then we will talk about our experience and share what we saw, felt, heard, experienced.

Then I say a prayer over us for our evening and sleep and we say our goodbyes.

It's simple and it's beautiful.
I always enjoy our time together and feel refreshed after.

Some vital knowledge when discerning spirits and paths in this world that may seem like love and light:

Satan was most likely an arch angel in Heaven...
He made the decision to take a route away from Creator (why, how...is a mystery!)...stay with me here...so apparently angels have choice as well!! He took 1/3 of the angels with him...(that's what the Bible shares) and those are now demons...fallen angels.

They all know how to sparkle and shine!!
He and they know a lot about earth, heaven and the way things function in the beyond!
Satan knows all about the Bible!!!
Could quote you every scripture verse and share a version of what it mans...and blow your mind with knowledge beyond what you ever thought possible!

Demons know about your family history...
they know about history...
they know about angels...

You see what I'm saying...
just because someone has a connection and knows things about the spirit realm
or about someone who died...
does not mean they are connecting
with CREATOR or with angels!!!!

Satan and the demons also have that information.

So we need to be aware of this...
ask for protection from Creator...
stay in alignment with forgiveness, peace, joy, agape love,
and proclaim who our God is...
who our Lord is...who are Creator is...

Is it satan...with all his power... and ability and resources who always wants to lie, steal and destroy...but is also really good at acting all light and bright and heaven like? Remembering also Satan cannot make anything new, can't create anything...can only steal and corrupt and invert!!

OR

is it Yahweh...with infinite power and ability and resources who always has our very best at heart and is the Creator and shares wisdom with us and shares with us the peace that passes understanding and joy too!

You don't like this start contract of evil and good and you wish it was not true...and you want there to be a way for this not to be true... me too!! me too. But as far as yet with 33 yrs of studying, listening, experiences, reading, going to uni and studying more, travels, hearing stories, etc etc... I can't find away around it... it seem that there are angels...and there are demons... and honestly this makes most sense given the state of the earth and humanity.

GREAT NEWS is ... God is more powerful and we have been put in charge of earth!!!

So you have more authority and access to resources than you probably currently realize (me too)!
And our power must always come through from Creator and reflect back to Creator. As in we didn't do it by ourselves...though we did make the choice to do it with God!
Yay huzzah!

Pray for wisdom and discernment.
Do not be fooled by "light" rhetoric that is not rooted in Jesus Christ and the Creator.

If a guide or spirit or "angel" comes to you...
ask it...
"what do you think about Jesus Christ?"

I did this once with,
I think it was three light sparkly beings
that seemed angelic
came to me in a dream state (at night)
and I thought to ask this...
I said, "what do you think about Jesus?"

and they started cursing and turned away from me
and then vanished!!!
I was like ok... super helpful!!
I do not want to hear what they have to say or get any guidance from them...even it were to seem good at first...it eventually leads nowhere life-giving! Amen.
