It was really exciting to have the opportunity to sound design and mix for “Prove You’re Human” trailer release for the showcase. I had the pleasure of building the signature sounds for two central characters: The first around mechanical compressed air — pressure releases, pneumatic hiss, and movement and the weight of something industrial trying to breathe. The other signature sound design piece comprised of intensity and digital conflict.
But sound design doesn’t live in isolation. The real work and process was crafting those elements to gel with the Drew Redman’s awesome score and the Remy Siu’s creative direction until the SFX and Score started breathing together.
