Thank you to all those that attended this year’s Tugboat Landing Artisan Market. We had another amazing turnout. We are thrilled to share that we raised $1,200 for the BC SPCA, SAINTS Rescue (Senior Animals in Need Today) and VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue). Plus we have an additional BONUS from our amazing supporters at Everything Wine River District. They had hosted a holiday event to raise funds for the BC SPCA and have contributed $592.75 which means the grand total of $1,792.75 will be shared between our 3 chosen charities. We could not have offered these wonderful prizes without our amazing business community who donated gifts. We are so grateful to – River District, , and , Odd Couple Company River District Living and Magazine River District Living .

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for supporting this community event and in turn these wonderful charities as well as our amazing artisans. We have drawn the names of the prize winners. Phone calls are being made. ☎️

We wish to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who came out to the 9th Annual Tugboat Landing Artisan Market. We had an amazing turnout and we were thrilled to see so many people supporting local businesses for their holiday shopping. We also wish to give a special shout out to for their coffee we were serving at the Donation Cafe, for serving delish eats this weekend and our dear friend Katherine from and for being on site and showcasing all the wonderful things about our community by the Fraser River and who kindly donated some of their delicious cookies for our volunteers working this weekend.

We are just in the process of counting all the funds we raised for our designated charities through the Raffle and Donation Café. We think it’s going to be our best total yet! Prizes will be drawn soon. We know everyone is excited to win one of the 15 prizes from River District, and . Winners will be called in person, but we will announce here when prizes have been drawn. Stay tuned!

We are less than 1 week away from the 9th Annual Tugboat Landing Artisan Market. We have a great line up of vendors for you. Additionally, we have some 15 prizes to give away in this year's raffle thanks to Everything Wine River District, Angus T Bakery & Cafe, Boketto Tea Bar and Bosley's River District. If that wasn't enough, we are excited to share that Yo-Bones BBQ Food Truck will be joining us for both days - December 6 & 7. Stop by and see what great eats they have to offer.

TABLE RETURNED 🙏🏻 Hey Neighbours, for those residents that have access to the Harbour Master Clubhouse, Strata Council is wondering if anyone borrowed one of the light grey 6 x 2 folding tables - similar to the image? It is missing. With the Clubhouse booked for many events in December, it is needed. If by chance a resident has borrowed, we ask that you please return it. Thank you.

If you are local, you should have received a letter from the City about the redesigned plan for upgrades to Phase One of the Kent Avenue Bikeway. A further engagement session to view the plans and ask questions will be held in the this Saturday, November 29th in the HarbourMaster Clubhouse, 2010 East Kent Ave S from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. See City’s link below for more details on redesigned plan.

We’re planning to make it safer and easier to walk, bike, and roll on Kent Ave from Ash St to Elliott St.

Mark your calendars! The Tugboat Landing Artisan Market is back for its 9th year on Saturday, December 6th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm) and Sunday, December 7th (11:00 am to 4:00 pm). The event takes place in the Harbour Master Clubhouse at 2010 East Kent Ave S. (foot of Victoria Drive). Admission is free. We will have 20+ vendors offering a wide range of items perfect for gift giving for the upcoming holiday season.

Hot cocoa, coffee and treats will be available by donation. We will again be hosting a raffle with proceeds going to the BC SPCA, VOKRA and SAINTS Rescue. Everything Wine – River District is an amazing supporter of our event and they have again donated a beautiful gift basket you could win. Also this year, we have a new neighbour coming to River District – Angus T Bakery & Café. They have kindly donated ten $25 gift cards to be used in any of their stores. For your chance to win some of these great offerings from our local businesses, stop by the market and purchase your ticket(s).

River District Living will again on hand this year featuring their magazines showcasing the people, places and businesses in our community by the river. We hope you’ll stop by and shop local.
