Family Place at Collingwood Neighbhourhood House, 5288 Joyce St., is an interactive program for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children newborn to 5 years old. It provides a safe and fun semi-structured space for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to play together, and for parents and caregivers to have the opportunity to build skills, network, and learn from each other while they engage with their children with the support of on-site early childhood facilitators. Arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, yoga, circle time, and many more fun activities.

Killarney Traffic Calming survey open until Dec 17th, in-person event on Sat, Nov 29th.

The second phase of consultation for the Killarney Traffic Management Program is underway. The program seeks to reduce the volume of traffic, provide safety improvements and to reduce the speed of traffic going through the core of the neighbourhood. The program covers the area between E. 49th Ave., Kingsway, Boundary Road and Kerr/Rupert St.

An Online Survey will be open until Dec. 17, 2025 at

An in-person consultation event will take place on Sat., Nov. 29, 2025, from 9am to 12pm at the Killarney Community Centre (6260 Killarney St).

The proposed changes include cycling route improvements on E. 45th Ave., a painted crosswalk, new sidewalks, a few one-way street sections, speed bumps and raised crossings.
