My advice:

- Post something every week no matter what, even if it is just once per week. Whatever frequency you choose, try to be consistent with it. These days you don't need to post daily to get traction, just consistently.

- Try to show your face in your content if possible. This will show your audience there is a real person putting in effort behind your page. Just posting cover art and show flyers won't set you apart from everyone else.

- Use your insta story. It's an amazing place to repost content that you enjoy, advertise for your shows, and post what otherwise might not make the cut for a post or reel.

- Try to go out to the spots you want to play and support as a patron. Talk to the people around you, and introduce yourself as a DJ. Also don't just go to the most popular spots, with no connects you gotta start from the bottom, go to shows thrown by smaller up-and-coming promotions.

- Connect with people online, join discord servers, find other like-minded artists to collaborate with. Make friends in the scene! I can't stress enough how important it is to connect with fellow artists especially in your genre!

- BE YOURSELF! You WILL burn out if you are pretending to be someone that you are not. DJ's don't need to be cool, especially not in the bass music scene.
