How many cones can the Gourmia Soft Serve Maker make? 🍦

I used 4 cups of mixture and filled 7 standard cones before running out of cones! I then filled 2 cups—and there was still around 1–1½ cups left inside.

So, I’d estimate roughly 10+ standard cones, depending on the size and how high you fill them.

And yes, it was very hot—they melted fast! 🫠

I spotted the newer Gourmia Soft Serve & Frozen Drinks Maker (GSI1060) at Costco and noticed four changes to the design—including a new dispensing lever, an easier-to-remove pin, a minimum-fill line and a star-shaped nozzle.

Do you have the newer model? Have these changes made it easier to use?

Costco didn’t have the Vanilla flavour today. I’m not sure if the chocolate flavour is new, but of course, I bought it to test in my Gourmia Ice Cream machine 😄

Has anyone tried this one yet?

Fanta slush was going well… then I spotted the dreaded drip 😢 I’ve checked that the dispenser handle is fully closed and the silicone ring is inserted properly. A few people in my Gourmia group have mentioned this happening too.

Any idea what might be causing it?

I tried making chocolate soft serve using high-protein chocolate milk, half-and-half and cocoa.

It took around 1½ hours in the Gourmia, but the moment I started filling the cones, they melted so fast. 😭

The texture looked lovely straight from the machine, but soft serve and a very hot kitchen were not a good mix!

Anyone else fail with making soft serve?

After using and testing air fryers for 7 years, I finally sat down and made a video on the little things I actually do now 😅

Not really “manual” advice — just the practical stuff that made the biggest difference for me over time.

Things like:
• why I don’t use liners
• when I actually preheat (and when I don’t)
• why food sometimes doesn’t crisp
• cleaning tips that make life easier

Vandisell Slow Juicer — Oranges & Apple Test (Real Use)

Tried this with oranges and apple in the Vandisell slow juicer by AMZChef.

It does process everything, but it doesn’t always pull it through on its own. I did have to use the pusher and clear it out a few times to keep it going.

This is what real use looks like if you’re considering a slow juicer for everyday juicing.

It handles mixed ingredients fairly well once everything is loaded in, especially for green juice.
